Relief from pain.
My husband wore this hernia truss. He felt relief, he is able to walk without slouching in pain. This product really works.

A lifesaver!
Bought this for my husband. He owns a bread sales route (lots of heavy lifting) and just can't take time off for surgery right now. He had been having a lot of swelling and pain, so I bought this hoping it would help. I am a nurse, he rarely listens to me or follows my suggestions, lol, and my husband never likes anything!!! I can tell you he is super happy with this product. I am shocked! He feels no discomfort at all if he wears it. He is miserable if he doesn't. Our goal was to keep him from needing surgery soon. It works so well that I just bought another one today so he doesn't have to wash it as much. He says it was awkward and annoying at first when he had to use the restroom because of the strap to help keep it in place, but he has gotten over that since he feels so much better. It comes with a pad that you have to place over the hernia to help hold it in place. If you are suffering and can't have a surgery right now, this is the product for you. It was true to size, so he wears medium underwear, and the medium belts fits perfect. Good luck!

GREAT PRODUCT ! - poorly stiched if needed for extended use
This gave great relief from my hernia's protrusion while awaiting surgery! It is comfortable to wear! It adjusts readily! HOWEVER, IT IS STITCHED WITH A RUNNING STITCH.....NOT A LOCKING STITCH and started to come apart after wearing it over knitted briefs, during waking hours, for 12 days. After surgery, I noticed one seam had started to unravel. By lightly pulling on the loose end of the thread it quickly began to un-zip. Other reviews & pictures for this product depict a serious loss of stitching after both wearing and washing. I believe that the sewing machines used to assemble this otherwise fantastic product are not using a "lock-stitch". I no longer have to wear this truss, so the stitching is a mute point. However, someone forced to wear it and wash it for an extended time would do well to either purchase another product or to use a product such as "Aleene's Stop Fraying" to prevent the stitching from coming apart. Hopefully the manufacturer will upgrade the sewing machines being used to assemble this product. Then it will be worthy of a full five stars!

FlexaMed Saves the Day...and More
A video review? Probably not, not even a still. Words will have to suffice. Just let me say that my FlexaMed Left Side Inguinal Hernia Truss will make life livable until I undergo surgery. No, I'm not enjoying my two-hour per day bike ride, but wearing the truss, I can do practically everything else, from mowing the lawn to hauling in groceries. Just the other day I remarked to my father-in-law that the twenty-five dollars plus shipping was the best money I have ever spent. Whether your injury is left-sided or right, you might consider buying two rather than one. Why? First, you'll probably earn free shipping, and, second, you'll have one to wear while the other is out on the line drying. Like any undergarment, you'll want to launder your truss occasionally. Mine came out the wash with no ill effect whatsoever. Oh, I forgot to mention that my order arrived much faster than I expected, and I suspect that the small and growing company that produces it will stand by its product. Why? Because the president/ owner emailed me to thank me for a positive review I had posted elsewhere. I should be thanking him. A hernia is no fun, but it can be managed. For me, this item works and works well.

Works well
Worked well, used it while I was waiting for my Hernia surgery.

Comfortable, easy to use, but has limitations
This is very comfortable to wear and easy to put on. However, the removable pad to keep the hernia in check is soft and flat and does not provide much 'push-back' to the hernia. My hernia is fairly large now and will likely require surgery soon, but this may work OK on a smaller hernia. The Uriel belt provides much greater resistance to the hernia.

Oh what a relief it is !
Diagnosed with left groin hernia. On my feet all day lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders and bending at the waist. Had a lot of pain while working and would have to keep one hand on area to quite the pain. Ordered this belt until I can get in for surgery. Not only has this belt allowed me to work all day without pain it has kept the area from getting worse. The fit is great and easy to use outside of boxer style briefs. Have found that while wearing pants with a belt causes pressure on damaged area so I use a cheap pair of suspenders hooked to my belt to keep the pants up without having to keep the belt on my pants to tight. With this combination I can work all day without pain. Great product. Hope this review helps someone. Not paid for this honest review.

Lousy product
The FlexaMed hernia truss' quality is worse than the same product I ordered a year ago. It is cheaply stitched and the fabric is of lesser quality. I am disappointed that I wasted ~$42 US on this product. I do NOT recommend it to anyone. I for one will have to find a much higher quality brand from a company other than FlexaMed who obviously cut back on manufacturing cost in a terrible way for their once quality brand. =(

Truss works well, is comfortable to wear
I developed an inguinal hernia back in March. In Ontario elective surgery is delayed by COVID and I may have to wait months for this hernia to be repaired. It is serious enough to warrant concern: it has enlarged somewhat since. becoming apparent. I bought this truss hoping I could undertake light and moderate exercise without pain or undue worry. The product exceeded my expectations. While I avoid heavy lifting and have reduced the amount of weight I use for weight training (using wimpy 15 pound dumbbells), I can undertake necessary chores and light exercise comfortably and without feeling I am doing damage. Examples: lifting groceries and luggage; moving and paddling a kayak; planting shrubs in the garden; carrying firewood. Good product. Buy 2 so you have an extra one when doing laundry.

Comfortable and effective
A little tricky to adjust and awkward to put on. Once these hurdles are overcome the truss is truly comfortable and provides firm support, I need to lift quite a heavy object two or three times every day and this is the only truss I've found that this lifting presents no twinges or problems.

The worst and most expensive belt I've tried
Where to begin with this atomic failure of a truss... The belt itself is VERY wide. As in, once you put it on, you can't flex at the waist because the band is in the way, and sitting with it on is basically impossible. Because of this wide band, the very flimsy pad included in it shifts very easily and fails to keep the hernia in. Anatomically this fails to sit where a hernia protrudes, and with the extremely wide band and thin pad, it is nearly impossible to adjust it to the right place. The elastic tension should be concentrated over the pad in order to hold it against the aperture through which the intestines are emerging, but the pad location seems to be the the least tense part of the belt! For this price point I feel very ripped off. I've tried many belts at many price ranges, and this one was the most expensive and least helpful. Hope you have better luck.
