Kaffir Lime originates from India and the leaves and fruit are used extensively in Thai and oriental Cooking. The Kaffir Lime trees are quite easy to look after but do require frost free conditions during the winter months. The leaves of this Kaffir Lime are dark glossy green with an unusual oval to oblong shape with a double wing. The fruit is spherical, yellowy-green in colour with a knobbly skin. There are 2 different descriptions of the height in your advertisement.** A: our current plants are approx 50cms above the pot. **Q: How tall and mature are the plants this year (2022)?** A: I bought the 20cm first and it was like a stick with a few leaves on but no growing tip - disappointing. So I then bought the bigger size which was a better branched mini tree with growing tips - a bit misshaped but I can prune it - which has grown very well in my greenhouse producing quite a lot of flowers and now small fragrant limes and the new leaves are especially big and fragrant.
