We have a 10Gbps switch connected to an 8-bay Synology NAS with a 10Gbps PCI card. I did a test beforehand using the standard 1Gbps RJ-45 connection on the back of the Mac Mini and got 115Mbps for both read and write. When I plugged in the Sabrent 5Gbps adapter it instantly recognised it, no drivers to install. I did another test with the AJA System Test Lite app and got 392Mbps write and 525Mbps read speeds. I am chuffed to mega bits with this adapter.
