This camera quick release for perfectly on my tripod and mounts. It's simple to use and the design was just like my old one. It's compatible with my cell phone mount and camera so it's very versatile and durable enough to hold the weight of my camera. I'm pleased with this pitched and would highly recommend.

Fits most tripods and cameras well. Lightweight build makes it easy to carry, though it’s not ideal for heavy gear. Locks in securely enough for casual use. Good value for the price.

This does not fit my Vivitar V3000 as advertised. I had to file it down to get it to sort of fit. Super thin plastic.

Now I can easily detach my telescope from the tripod, fold the tripod and stash it away. Getting it out and remounting the scope is just as easy, which means I use it more. It is plenty sturdy and the price is very reasonable. Like it so much I ordered one for my DSLR so I don't have to switch between the two.
