Although a complex set up works amazingly and my lizard is very happy

The controller didnt work from the start, i tried multiple heat mats and still the controller wont work. The heat mats would work plugged in on their own but not while in the controller. Having had the same controller a few years back and quite liking it, i thought i would get another, but this one has been useless and a waste of time from the start. Its now outside of Amazons refund policy, so i can only give it a bad review. I wouldnt buy one of these again as the first one i had issues with Elitech, and now this time with the controller, i would stay away from this product.

I spend several months 5000 miles away every year and wanted to control some devices in my flat and monitor what was going on remotely. To do this I ordered several “WIFI enabled” items . Now I have returned to my home I am writing a report how each one performed. I purchased this item to monitor the temperature in the roof space and control a small tube heater if the temp went below 7C. II did not need to use the "cooling aspect" but I can confirm that also works as one day the roof temp exceeded the setting for cooling and the app showed that it had switched the cooling socket on. The device itself worked perfectly, the app was a bit less perfect - It is a little confusing to set up and it would from time to time not link to the Elitech server but to be fair it would re-establish a link shortly after so I really had no problems. Elitech support was 5 stars.

Worked perfectly as described, the instructions on how to set the temperature ranges took a bit of working out but all works well

What I liked about this product is it had all the setting and heat mat and humid temperatures, it looks smart everything you could want, Now the down side I set it all up followed instructions even of their YouTube video’s, straight away the humidity socket worked and turned of when it was done Awsome, but the heat pad socket didn’t work at all the icon didn’t even show up on the screen to say heating even though I set it right, and after seeing some other reviews about not working after 3 weeks etc, I obviously couldn’t use it and it seems like it’s a programming issue in them, if they can sort this out people would have a great product, But I had to send it back and get a completely different brand and design as their is loads of these about but just a different name on it so a bit gutted really and gutted for them as they was so close to having a good quality product.

Als Erstes muss ich sagen, dass es schade ist, dass ich dieses gerät nicht mit europäischen Steckern gefunden habe. Ich musste also Adapter dazu kaufen. Das Gerät macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Es schaltet recht leise und nach Kalibrierung auch recht präzise bezüglich der Temperatur. Ich habe es kalibriert aber dennoch hat es ein zwei Tage gedauert bis es sich eingependelt hat. Aber jetzt läuft es wirklich sehr gut. Ich bin da echt pingelig und hab ein vergleichbares Gerät von einer anderen Firma wieder zurückgeschickt. Einziges "manko" ist die App. Man kann zwar allerhand einstellen aber es gibt ein paar Defizite. Zum einen ist sie nicht wirklich sinnvoll aufgebaut. Intuitiv ist wirklich anders. Und Und zum anderen ist es wenn der Funktion on / off nicht so korrekt. Es funktioniert nicht. Ich habe also die Option die Heizung ein und auszustellen aber kann sie nicht nutzen da sie irgendwie nicht funktioniert. Schade. Zeiten kann ich auch nicht programmieren. In meinem Fall ist das jetzt nicht so wichtig aber ich denke es gibt da auch andere Kunden. Ansonsten ist es zuverlässig. Auch der graph und die datenliste sind toll. Zeitinterval kann man einstellen. Ab eine Minute geht's los. Alles in allem kann ich dass gerät auf Grund der Genauigkeit und der Zuverlässigkeit empfehlen. Wenn man das aber mit gesunden Menschenverstand betrachtet ist der Preis für nen Relais was Temperaturgesteuert ist, einfach völlig übertrieben. Meine Meinung als Techniker.
