First one lasted for only one week. Second one seems ok.
This is an update of the initial review; The first cable lasted for only one week. I returned it for a 35-ft wired display port cable which badly flickered and blanked out frequently. So, I had to return this one too, and decided gave this fiber optics cable a second chance, particularly since it has a 5-year warranty. So far it has been doing superbly for more than a month. Initial review. I got this 35-foot cable because it conducts via the much touted fiber optics for reliable long cable runs. It worked fine for about a week. Then the attached monitor blanked off completely for about a second and back on again. This happened about 10 times over a period of about 20 minutes before a error was displayed that "no display cable is attached." So, I'm returning it for another one or something different. I note that of the 35 customer reviews thus far, 33 are by those receiving the free product. No one mentioned a complete cable failure. So, I might roll the dice again.

Screen Blacks Out RANDOMLY
screen blacks out randomly not reliable for gaming at all would end up getting you killed at the worst time I made sure I have it connected the correct direction GPU connected to the source end and monitor connected to the display end using a 7900XTX GPU and a Corsair XENEON 32QHD240 32-Inch IPS QHD 1440p 240hz monitor set to 1440p and 240hz in windows not even under load while watching YouTube the screen just goes black randomly like it's not getting any signal at all

Only time will tell if this is really future proof...
Fiber optics avoids two issues with traditional cables: 1) Electrical noise 2) Electrical Capacitance, which limits the frequency, i.e. RC timing issues The cable is small and very flexible. The ends do plug snuggly into the display ports. This would be about all that could be reviewed regarding a cable, but this cable is a fiber optic cable, which means it uses light to send the signal the length of the cable. Fiber optic cables can run much longer distances without the same problems as electrical cables. This means you can have your display in one room, and the source electronics in another room for whatever reason (security, climate controlled, aesthetics, etc.). It used to be that display cables were limited to much shorter distances. It is finally nice to have fiber optic cables at a reasonable price. For example, Samsung has a fiber optic cable that is proprietary and costs $300. Pay attention to the Source and Display ends of the cable. This is important because each end has a directional controller chip that processes the signals and a SerDes chip to send the signal down the cable. In this case there is also photo electric chips that convert electric signals to and from light signals. It's pretty amazing how much electronics are just in the connectors of each of these cables. This is being used on a 4K display, so only time will tell if the 8K and 16K capabilities are real, however 4K@240Hz working should give some confidence that 16K@60Hz will also work. PROs: + Solid metal connectors + Small flexible cable + Long length + Price CONs: - Connector color

Excellence
Bought this in 15 feet to carry a 4k 144hz signal, and it works perfectly. The same can't be said about a set of 15 ft fiber optic HDMI cables (from another company) where the signal drops out constantly. Said HDMI cables are almost twice the price of these GeoHN.G cables. The takeaway is that with fiber optic cables, build quality absolutely matters but price is not necessarily a better indicator than brand. These GeoHN.G cables pass with flying colors.

Perfect Cable for High-Quality Performance and Flexibility
Perfect Cable for High-Quality Performance and Flexibility I absolutely love this cable. I use it with my high-end video card and a large 4K monitor, and I don't have to worry about a thick, clumsy cable ripping a connector from the boards. The flexibility is amazing, making it a breeze to organize so it's not unsightly. I can push 4K at 120Hz with HDR without any issues. The cable comes in varying lengths and is priced extremely competitively. I've updated all my monitors to these cables and plan to update my televisions soon as well. Highly recommend!

Dosen’t even support 1440p at 120hz without DSC
Dosent even do 120hz 1440p without compression. it CLAIMS to support 2.1, but my monitor supports 1440p 170hz. I know that 2.1 should support that. It dosen’t even reach 170hz either, or 144hz. It’s stuck at 120hz with DSC (text looks weird at 120hz, at 60 it looks fine.) Complete waste of money.. Im going to swap back to my old cable. Would rather disconnects and a thicker cable over this crap.

Sadly it's not reliable once the montiors enter standby, it doesn't always wake the display.
I've noticed the same thing as another reviewer, the cable works but it doesn't always wake the monitor, unplugging & reconnecting the cable fixes it but not something you want to always be doing. In fact sometimes the computer completely thinks the monitor is gone while the displays are in standby, this was causing the computer to randomly freeze up while the displays were in standby. I'm guessing it was disconnecting & reconnecting randomly while the monitors were in sleep till the display driver has a panic attack & the system would hard lock. Never happen before using this cable, but happen multiple times in the few days I had it connected, so I switched back to a normal DP cable & everything has been fine again. I like how thin & light this cable is & I like the idea of fiber cables longer runs to high bandwidth displays because I've had static shocks in the winter make my main display drop out for a second. I was hoping this fiber cable would be the solution but sadly it only caused bigger issues. Once connected though it doesn't drop out & the picture is stable, the issues only show up when the monitors go to standby or when first powering on the PC.

Flexible and very small diameter making it very easy to run the cable around corners. Fiber optic is not affected by magnetic interference and also no time latency. What more to ask for. Highly recommended.

Excellent. Greatly improved the clarity of my monitor. Be aware HDR won't work with active cables. I'd rather get rid of the fuzz.
