And I'm happy to say it is! I was very happy about the fit, I'm usually on the bigger side of XL up to a 1X sometimes 2X depending on the brand (am I right ladies?) but I fit like a glove in the XL with room for a hoodie underneath which I wear when it gets around -20Β°C. I read a review that said she felt the coat is around one size bigger than your actual size & I agree. It helps a lot to read the measuring chart and reviews! It's VERY warm, so comfortable and has fuzzy lining on inside, except in the sleeves. I do like the big hood too but that's one thing I'd change is the hoodie string but that one isn't a big deal to me. And there's a big double zipper.
