Didn’t work and smelt of burning when I put the battery in. Awful piece of kit. Don’t buy. Sent it back for a full refund. Great customer service from Amazon. Shame about the product.

Not good! Bought it 5 months ago and used it twice.. yesterday and today. Yesterday it was working fine. Today, I spent 2 hours trying to figure out what was wrong with my new cable run after just getting one green light on either port 1 or 2. I changed the RJ45 connectors about half a dozen times each end still getting the same fault. I then assumed there must be a break in the new cable, so I tested the continuity on that, no problem. I was stumped! I thought there must be an issue with the tester battery so I changed that. Finally, I used a cable that I know is fine, low and behold, the same problem! Maybe that should have been my first check, but after using it the day before with no problem and not dropping it or anything, I assumed it was my connections rather than the tester. Two hours out of my valuable Sunday that I will never get back!! I wasn't expecting much for £8, but maybe more than half a dozen tests! Avoid if you want to keep your sanity!!!

Never worked -standby light came on, green lights never did when testing cables I knew to be fine.

Sotto consiglio di un amico l'ho acquistato... ho acquistato un metro di cavo ethernet con 4 RJ45 per fare pratica, insieme ad una crimpatrice economica e nel giro di una settimana mi sono fatto l'intero impianto 🤩🤩🤩 avendo una casa a piani molto grande avevo predisposto il passaggio per 5 cavi ethernet di cui il più lungo di 35 metri che mi sarebbe servito per piazzare un router in un punto strategico della casa per poter mettere le telecamere in entrambe le facciate di casa. In conclusione... Grazie a questo "aggeggio" ho imparato a crimpare ed ho potuto fare 5 prolunghe (una da 35m) più altre 4 per le telecamere. Non so dirvi nel tempo ma, per ora ho risparmiato qualche decina di euro e forse più. Senza considerare la soddisfazione personale! CONSIGLIATISSIMO A CHI COME ME.

To prosty i niedrogi tester LAN, który po prostu robi to, do czego został stworzony. Urządzenie wykonane jest z twardego, sztywnego tworzywa, nie ma więc ryzyka, że coś się uszkodzi. Do działania wymaga baterii 9V, która nie jest dołączona. Nie warto przepłacać za droższe urządzenia, które robią dokładnie to samo.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per testare i cavi rj45 che ho cablato personalmente in casa, avendoli fatti passare in canaline e crimpato i connettori. Con questo tester si verifica l'effettivo corretto collegamento di tutti i fili e del loro ordine, in quanto invertirne qualcuno rende inutile il lavoro. Lo strumento è molto semplice da utilizzare, è composto da due parti separabili alle quali vanno connesse le due estremità del cavo da testare, la parte emittente invierà un segnale attraverso il cavo fino alla ricevente accendendo il led corrispondente ad ogni filo in sequenza. In questo modo verificheremo che ogni filo sia connesso correttamente (se interrotto o crimpato male non si accenderà) e nella giusta sequenza (si dovranno accendere i led in ordine numerico da entrambe le parti, se invertiti le due sequenze non combaceranno). Molto semplice ma estremamente utile specie se non si possono toccare entrambe le estremità con un tester (che basterebbe se fosse un cavo libero con i due connettori vicini). Importante: necessita di una batteria da 9V, facilmente reperibile ma non compresa. Peccato perchè non avevo letto della cosa ed ho dovuto attendere di acquistarla perchè in casa non ne avevo. Se vi serve con urgenza ricordatevi di prenderne una!
