It is not grey. The size of the frame depends on which measurements you order, however, if you order a large size, it can easily be cut down. **Q: Do I have to use a drill? Thanks** A: Contrary to the other short answer of 'No', I'd answer: "Possibly, yes". But it really depends on how you decide to attach the frames to the windows or window frames. Building the frames requires no drill, but may require a hacksaw to cut the aluminium sides to the required size. Hangs on the frame and the window closes with no issues. My 2 cents: measure the window correctly, use a metal tool to bend the hangers to the correct window edge thickness, if you try to straighten and rebend it to a different thickness it will break, don’t pull the mesh too much otherwise the window might bow a bit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Puff of Fresh Air!!! *by N***A on 3 October 2021* This mosquito net has become a great friend in our kitchen. We did not use it for a window, instead it is fitted outside the kitchen door (the back door to our house). It is so well made that it is weatherproof! It stops about 18" from the doorstep which is perfect for our little yorkie. to come and go! The quality of the product is very high however it is a bit fiddly to get just right. The instructions are very clear though, with a built in rule if cutting is required. Take time and care and the end product will be perfect. A quality product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ High Quality Product *by C***. on 21 June 2022* Delivery was quick, efficient and well packaged. Out of the box I was impressed by the high quality of the component parts. The aluminium frame is lightweight yet rigid and comes with a generous supply of netting, spline and fixings. My kit also came with a durable plastic spline tool for fixing the net to the frame which saved me having to purchase a separate tool. A nice touch. Cutting the aluminium frame down to the required size is quite straightforward particularly if you have a decent mitre or chop saw. I would have given this 5 stars but to fix the aluminium frame to the corner pieces takes a bit of effort. I needed a hefty rubber mallet and a couple of wooden blocks to finish the job. Once fixed in place it will not come out, that's a certainty. The kit also provided a number of window fixings which was very helpful. Overall, I am very pleased with the finished flyscreen which looks great and works well.
