Too fiddly. Still ripped the wrapping paper and had to end up using scissors.

I saw these on Shark Tank and thought I would give them a try. They work really well. They cut Christmas paper length wise, which is great for getting it away from the roll with a precise cut.

Those were the questions I asked myself when I finally sent off to buy these wrapping paper roll-cutters. I was facing a Christmas of needing to actually wrap the packages with paper, not rely again on the many bags and pouches we'd accumulated. We'd had Christmas out of town last year and ended up with very few leftover bags! I saved my wrapping for these "Elves" and started off. Usually my hands cramp up due to arthritis and my paper gets all jagged, as well. Not this time. My first use of the ELF was flawless (if I do say so myself!) and each successive use was just as good. I showed my daughter how easy it was to use, as well, and she stopped and ordered herself a set as soon as she finished her first package! Such a great wrap cutter! I put one in the corner of my "Christmas" wrap box, and the other is in the corner of my "regular gift wrap" box, so I'm ready to wrap again!
