Arcade Fun at Home
If you’re thinking about getting Capcom Fighting Collection 2 for the Nintendo Switch, I’d definitely recommend it—especially if you have kids who enjoy fighting games. My son absolutely loved it. The game has a great mix of classic fighting titles, which makes it feel like a little arcade at home. The controls are easy enough for beginners to pick up, but there’s still enough challenge to keep things interesting as they improve. That balance is a big win. One thing I really liked is how smooth it runs on the Switch. No lag, no frustration—just straight gameplay. The graphics keep that classic arcade style, which adds a fun nostalgic vibe, even if you didn’t grow up with these games. For my son, the best part was being able to try different characters and games all in one place. It kept him entertained way longer than I expected, which honestly makes it worth the money. Overall, it’s a fun, family-friendly game with a lot of replay value. If your kid enjoys action or fighting games, this is a solid pick.

Excited to have these games on Switch
Very fun collection. The Capcom vs SNK games are certainty the highlights, but all of the games are very fun and enjoyable. Game arrived on time and in the described condition. No complaints, glad to have the great games on switch.

This is pure gold
For collectors, this is pure gold! Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is the ultimate package, finally rescuing key Dreamcast fighters like Rival Schools: Second Impact and Plasma Sword from obscurity and bringing them to modern platforms with essential online functionality. The inclusion of Capcom vs SNK, street fighter Alpha 3, and the Power Stone duo makes this a comprehensive celebration of Capcom's fighting legacy. It's a historically significant release, expertly updated for today's audience. Highly, highly recommended.

Capcom, the king of fighting games
Loved the game, the collection brings nostalgia to everyone who played fighting games in the 90s and 2000s. Great selection of games, amazing gallery, powerful characters, and some of the best music in fighting games.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 - Nintendo Switch
A Well‑Crafted Retro Fighting Collection with Minor Flaws As a long‑time fan of Capcom’s fighting games, I approached Capcom Fighting Collection 2 with high expectations. It delivers a polished, nostalgic compilation, though it’s not without a few shortcomings. Here’s a breakdown: Game Selection This collection focuses on some of Capcom’s more obscure and experimental fighters, including Cyberbots, Red Earth, and Star Gladiator 2. It also gives fans of Rival Schools something to finally enjoy on modern hardware. While that niche lineup will excite retro enthusiasts, casual players—who might miss classics like Street Fighter or Darkstalkers—may feel less engaged. Gameplay & Controls Each game plays smoothly on both docked and handheld modes. Controls feel responsive, and button mapping is customizable. Serious players will benefit from using a Pro Controller or arcade stick. Some characters and mechanics feel dated, but that retro feel is part of the charm. Online & Extras The addition of rollback netcode means competitive matches feel smooth and reliable online. There are also many quality‑of‑life features: save states, visual filters, difficulty settings, and a robust museum mode that includes concept art and music libraries. Presentation Menus are clean, stylish, and easy to navigate. Load times between games are minimal. The included gallery materials will appeal to fans of classic Capcom art and soundtracks. What Could Be Better Niche game selection means fewer mainstream favorites. Still missing titles like Capcom vs. SNK, Power Stone, or Marvel crossovers. A few entries feel like filler compared to standout titles in the collection. Final Verdict Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is a thoughtfully curated set of Capcom fighting titles with solid enhancements and smooth online play. It’s a must-have for collectors and a worthwhile discovery for players looking to dive deeper into Capcom’s lesser-known fighting legacy. That said, it may leave some fans wanting more mainstream favorites.
