Works perfectly with Minisforum mini PC's
Love this Dock. I have paired a rx 7800xt with my mini pc and it works great. With a minisforum mini pc I just turn on the pc and the dock will self start as long as your power supply is on.

Greener and better performance.
Great for saving power and keeping things cooler. I put guitar pickup foam in the corners to keep sound vibrations off the slots, and kept the card secure with the mounting bracket. Itโs great Iโll be able to upgrade the card or mini pc independently too. I can turn this all off and use dedicated soundcards in music studio or use the oculink port for high speed hard disk. It introduced minimal/zero latency itโs basically no different from the sata cable connecting gpus to board anyway. It will run max settings in most games.

What a nice simple design
When looking for an upgrade, like going from slow thunderbolt/usb 4 to much faster oculink, you'd expect to pay more. Like I think I paid 150 for my tb dock. This was less. And it was easy. And it just works. Plugged in the cable after using my sfx power supply and the little arm thing for the card stand, and blammo. I didn't even have to go into the bios. Better, it worked with Linux. And I legit didn't have to do anything but connect everything up. I'm still on that first boot. Having your card in a dock is a luxury. It runs cooler, and you can get at it if you want to swap it out, upgrade it, or it locks up. I like to run a cable for the external card, and one for the internal in the pc so I can swap between them. On Linux it means I don't have to reboot if the 7900XT has issues. I can fall back to onboard graphics, fix it, then resume. That's very convenient. It also means I can swap out my system/card at will. Oculink is awesome if you game at 60fps. You won't see much performance falloff unless you are doing insane fps 1080p gaming. Great product minisforum.

Now This is a Game Changer!
Simply put, the phrase "game changer" that so many people now bandy about and use with the most quotidian of products or product uses, does aptly apply to this product. I now own two connected to AMD 7800 and 7900 cards and 850w PSUs and it's borderline magical to have such an adaptively lean and mean device at the ready. No issues in a year of use and I have heard that it can handle the latest generation of cards, which seems logical based on my understanding of how this device works. Highly recommend.
