## Description

This easy to use and professionally engineered machine allows you to create projects from scratch with 241 built-in sewing stitches and 193 built-in embroidery designs. Download 50 additional free designs from the Artspira App.* A large LCD color touchscreen display allows users to view their designs and editing options in full color prior to beginning their sewing project. The Brother SE2000 also features My Custom Stitch, which permits you to design your own custom sewing stitches and save them on your machine for future use. With the flexibility to combine designs, change colors, and upload multiple pre-designed patterns, the SE2000 combination sewing and embroidery machine has limitless applications. The design editing feature allows you to easily change individual embroidery thread colors using the built-in color palette and preview them on the 3.7” Sew Smart touchscreen. The 5" x 7" embroidery field provides ample space for larger designs and lettering and for combining designs with less rehooping. The total 241 built-in stitches include an impressive array of decorative stitches and 10 styles of 1-step buttonholes that are automatically sized to fit your buttons. Review: A real workhorse! - This machine has been almost perfect! I should note, and this is very important, I am a beginner at machine sewing and embroidery, but having said that, the SE2000 has helped me build my confidence, assisted in multiple projects, and has held up amazingly for well over a year at this point! I will say, threading was not the easiest to learn, and the Brother tutorial was not helpful (I had to use YouTube to assist in learning how to thread!). Learning curb aside, I'm just happy it stays threaded even with a beginner at the helm. In my opinion, it not nearly as heavy as I thought. It did *not*, however, come with any kind of carrying case (as some older, regular sewing machines did), and although it has a sturdy handle, I've admittedly been too nervous to take it out of my designated crafting space. Noise-wise, I would say average. It's not as quiet as a church mouse, but it's also not as loud as an airplane taking off. I much prefer this hoop side (for embroidery) over the smaller machines, and it's a decent compromise price-wise in comparison to the more expensive higher-end models. So far, I've used it for making pillow cases of various fabric types, mending jeans/pants, embroidering onto various items, creating doll clothes, and embroidering details onto plushies that I created with it! It has a learning curve, and the brother videos didn't impress me, but thanks to the internet, YouTube, and various forums, it's proven to be incredibly useful (and dare I say, fun!). The ONLY downside is that updates have to placed onto a flash drive and then installed, which I find ridiculous in 2025 (I feel they should just be done over WiFi at this point), and their built-in embroidery files are a bit lackluster. Other than those two issues, I've truly enjoyed this machine (but I'll update if that ever changes!).

This is my first time using an embroidery machine and the hardest part was to read the manual and calibrate the bobine tension because I was getting a nest thread on the back because the bobine was to tight and the thread wasn't rotating For this a read the manual like 3 times and watch some YouTube videos and got it to work perfectly!!
