I bought these microfiber cloths to use as keyboard covers on a couple of 15‑inch PC laptops (a Dell Inspiron 3530 and an Acer Aspire Go 15), even though most products like this are listed specifically for MacBooks. After a bit of searching, these seemed like the closest match size‑wise — and they do work, with a caveat. The fit is very precise. They completely cover the keyboard area on both laptops, but there’s no extra material to spare. Placement matters — you need to line them up carefully — but once positioned, they sit flat and stay in place when the lid is closed. I also tried one on an older HP 15‑inch Pavilion just out of curiosity, and it fit that keyboard as well. These are very soft, flexible and reasonably thick — similar to a good quality eyeglass cleaning cloth. I primarily use them to keep fingerprint oils off my laptop screens when the lids are closed, which is something I’m a bit particular about. My older laptops originally came with those thin paper‑style keyboard covers, but those wear out quickly. These are a clear upgrade and feel much more durable. Although it’s not specifically stated in the product details, I can confirm they work on the Dell Inspiron 3530 and Acer Aspire Go 15 as long as you’re careful with placement. If you’re unsure, measuring your keyboard edge‑to‑edge beforehand isn’t a bad idea. I’ve used a lot of products like this over the years. These aren’t the absolute best I’ve ever seen, but they’re definitely a good solid option, do exactly what they’re meant to do, and are priced appropriately for what you get. I can’t imagine finding anything noticeably better at this price point. Five stars. Recommended.

I'm always getting the imprint of my keyboard on the screen of my MacBook Air. Using this microfiber cloth has prevented that, and it's so thin you can close the lid without issue. Plus you can use the cloth for cleaning the screen. Recommend this simple solution!

This is an awesome case!! From the aesthetic to the extremely great fit, I love this thing all around. It feels very durable and sturdy and it was so easy to put on. It didn’t really add much to the thickness and it feels really good carrying it. The color went great with my MacBook color. The keyboard protector is really nice and it came with two! Didn’t expect that and not sure how to store the extra one but I got it! Don’t like the screen protector much. It gets the job done but it’s very apparent to see when the screen is dark. It works though. And I’m so thankful this case has all the proper vents! I have a 2021 MacBook and I was concerned about that. But this one is fantastic. Worth every penny!!!!

Apple makes great stuff, but sometimes with the stupidest little oversights. MacBooks have had this "so thin the keyboard touches the screen" problem for years. They don't seem to care. I guess marketing the measurement is more important that the function. If you're tired of MacBook screens with a keyboard pattern etched into them, get this. It's a silly little thing, but it works. It's thin enough that the computer can close but dense enough that your oily finger prints don't seem to get through. I've had two on my Macs (one 16" one 13") for a year now and they are still holding up great. I even use it to wipe the screen down quite often — something I might eventually regret but so far so good! Apple should ship one with every computer.

For the price, they're really good quality.

I ordered this because I needed a cloth to wipe off my laptop screen. I realized there was residue left on the keys after typing and needed a remedy for this. This cloth does just that, it absorbs the oil left after typing and keeps it separate from the screen by covering the keys

The microfiber cloth is just what I needed. To protect my screen from potential keyboard marks. It’s great for cleaning the mac as well. Laptop closes easily, the cloth is thin so it’s not a problem. Happy with this purchase since I got two for a fairly good price!

It's dirty, sick and feels like a 6-8 layer toilet paper. It's definitely not a microfiber. Don't buy this if you don't want to damage your screen.
