Solved the dreaded rattle you get from the oe clip. This fit perfectly and while it didn’t push up on the actuator it fit snug enough to get rid of the rattle.

Not Good , very difficult to install

Fits my G30 540i muffler valve and actuator well. The increased tension silenced the valve rattle at low RPM. It was worth the cost and only took 10-15 minutes with a 10mm box wrench to install. It looks durable and hope it lasts a long time. There is not supposed to be any play when reinstalling the spring, its stiffer so it should push back at you when reinstalling the valve actuator. Don't know how the other two 1-star reviewers installed it. They're probably not smart mechanical individuals.

Does not fit a 2014 328 i xdrive. Stick with the factory design. Exhaust flap clip slot doesn’t line up with actuator slot and there’s no play with this spring.
