Very light and squishes very small. Opens into a large, sturdy, canvas duffel bag with zipper complete closure. Was soooooo useful on an international trip- we did 1-2 day side trips and packed in this from the main bag. Has also been useful as a large duffel bag just to use at home.

I bought the XL duffel for our big trip to Japan. I planned on buying some clothes and wanted to make sure I had room to bring my goodies home. We went carry-on only to ensure that we could get around the train stations easily. I would definitely do that again! I packed this duffel in my carry-on, and we had plenty of room for our souvenirs. We checked it from Tokyo to LAX to SMF, and it still looks new. Very durable. Highly recommend. Folded back easily into its pouch.

This looks very well made and it will replace our old one my HB and I bought many many years ago. Good size, and of course, it is not bulky because of its material. We usually take it as our laundry bag while traveling and we have, many times, did check it in with our dirty clothes. I will bet this is going to serve us well!

No question or doubts, it has the dimensions literally printed on the bag. It will fold relatively flat. Good for storage when you have no carry on one way but on the way back do have carry on. Or can be used for extra when expected to be needed while traveling.

I bought this duffel bag to bring on my trip to Japan and it worked exactly as I needed! It is very large so it helped that my teenage son was around to carry it. But when it was folded, it was super compact and I was able to toss it at the bottom of my suitcase. Then when we were preparing to leave Japan and pack up all of our purchases, we took out the duffel to pack all our laundry and clothing purchases so the hard-shell suitcases could accommodate the harder and breakable items. Just bring an extra lock because it will need to be checked.

Low low quality, in my opinion. Simply closed the first time and immediately broken. I never seen a samsonite product so low in quality. Luckily I bought a 15 dollars product zalala and it was (is) much much more resistant.

Great Value. We bought 2 of these Samsonite Foldaway Packable Duffel Bags. We toss them into our luggage then use the duffels for day trips during our extended travels. The bags are durable. More importantly the shoulder straps and shoulder strap stitching have held up even with all the weight we have stuffed in the bags. (They held up better than my shoulder.) I would buy this product again, but I know I won't have to; they are going to last a long time. One tip: be sure to study a YouTube video on how to fold the bags back up when your done with them. It's a bit of a Rubik's Cube until you see an example.

Nice and practical!

Weighs 418 grams on my scales (including strap) and from the dimensions 55*30*21 is 34.65 litres and looks like it might be water resistant as well. Is OK size for Virgin and JetStar hand luggage. Has a detachable strap to carry over your shoulder as well. Just bought a second one as the secret to hand luggage is a light bag :)
