I've used plenty of inexpensive channel knives with round or V shaped blades in the past, and have always found the experience less than stellar. This is a quality tool, with a sharp blade. It effortlessly cuts a beautiful and uniform ribbon, which can be easily twisted or coiled as desired for drink garnish. I am dismayed that they are no longer available here, I came back to purchase more for gifts!
