I picked up the DJI Mic Mini (1 TX + 1 RX), Wireless Lavalier, and it’s been absolutely brilliant. The sound quality is really impressive for such a small device. Voices come through clear and crisp, even when there’s a bit of background noise. It makes a huge difference compared to using a phone mic on its own. What I love most is how easy it is to use. It connects quickly, and you can just clip it on and start recording without messing around with complicated settings. Perfect if you just want something reliable that works straight away. The size is another big plus. It’s tiny and lightweight, so you hardly notice you’re wearing it. Great for filming videos, interviews, or even just capturing everyday moments without feeling bulky. Battery life has been solid too. It lasts long enough for regular use, and charging is quick and simple. Overall, really impressed with this mic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently purchased the DJI Mic Mini, and I’m thoroughly impressed! It works flawlessly right out of the box, delivering crystal-clear audio every time. The setup is straightforward, and I haven’t experienced a single issue with connectivity or performance. Its compact design makes it super convenient to carry around, and the sound quality is professional-grade—perfect for vlogs, interviews, or any on-the-go recording. Overall, it’s reliable, high-quality, and a fantastic value. Highly recommend!

I purchased these purely for POV instagram reels with them connected to my osmo action 6. The sound quality is a massive improvement over the standard in cam mic and when compared to my friends mic 2 there is no difference in sound quality. This will be mainly due to instagrams sound compression. At £40 the value is honestly unbeatable if you don’t absolutely need pure wireless transmission. But I don’t mind connecting the receiver to the cam. However the only thing to be aware of is that these are not weather sealed or water resistant at all. Over all, easy to connect, easy to used easy to mount.

Excellent quality mic, easy to pair with the TX and it pairs with my DJI Action 4 without the separate TX. Clips onto my motorbike helmet chin curtain with the little magnet. It remembers the pairing so you can turn the Action 4 off and back on again and it'll reconnect almost instantly. Battery life is great, just wish you could charge without the dock but I guess that design is to reduce the size by eliminating a USB-C port. Sound quality seems excellent for its size. For the price of about £50 you can't go wrong. Even has a nice little bag to keep it all together. Tested the TX with my Fuji X-T4 and it works great with that. The TX clips on the hot shoe and cable goes into the 3.5mm jack. Auto level works well too. Although I found there is sometimes still some clipping when used in motorbike helmet even at the max of - 12dB.

Bought to use with my Google Pixel phone. I found I needed both the Transmitter and Receiver to work properly with my phone with the native Camera app. However, I was able to connect the Transmitter directly to my Insta360 Ace Pro 2 without the receiver (just Bluetooth). I'm sure it would work perfectly with any device accepting a 3.5mm jack (not tried that yet). Weirdly complicated to set this up with the DJI Osmo7P gimble. So many tiny little boxes and wires all need charging and interconnecting. Works though - and the quality is great. I also thought it was really good value.

I bought the 1 TX + 1 RX kit because I mostly film solo vlogs and didn't need a bulky setup. This thing is tiny—I honestly forget I'm wearing it. The audio quality is a massive step up from any built-in phone or camera mic, sounding much richer and more professional. Pros: Size: It’s roughly the size of a postage stamp and incredibly light (doesn't sag my shirt). Battery: Lasts nearly 12 hours on a single charge, which is insane for something this small. Ease of Use: Truly plug-and-play. I plugged the receiver into my phone, and it was ready instantly. Highly recommend for TikTok/Reels creators who want better audio without the "pro" price tag.

Extremely disappointed with this mic. Doesn’t work at all with my iPhone and never has. I’ve spent hours trying to get it to work, I sent it back to DJI and they sent it back to me saying it worked. They’ve said it doesn’t work with iPhones and I need to use the Protake app. It doesn’t work with that either. They now say I need to adjust the output in the Protake app but in order to do that you have to subscribe which is a monthly cost. It shouldn’t be this complicated to use a microphone. I just wanted a refund as I since bought a DJI osmo pocket. I’ve never known such a farce. If you have an iPhone do not buy this mic, it’s a complete waste of time and DJI will have you running round in circles trying to get it to work.
