Liquid Transfer Pump

After years of motor-homing I have encountered great difficulties in putting extra fresh water into my motorhome when set-up on site far away from any water supply tap. I have tried various types of funnel but none of which were wholly successful due to the difficulty of holding and pouring heavy water containers into small funnels held against the filler pipe on the motorhome. I have had some success with manual syphoning but, again, making sure the supplying water container stays above the filler pipe on the motorhome can prove difficult.This battery-operated syphon pump is absolutely brilliant. Simply hold the syphon pump below the water level in the supplying container and let the appliance do the work. I can honestly say that it is now almost a joy to have to refill the fresh water tank. Wish I had come across this machine years ago.

The media could not be loaded. For £10 buying one of these is a no brainer. Everybody should have one. Have I actually used this pump yet. No! But I have used other examples and this seems to be fairly generic. As I have said watch the review from the pure living for life youtube channel. I used them to suck water out of my radiator to replace it with antifreeze. I have used one for transfering water in and out of a water filled punch bag. I've just realised I could have used it last week to get the "water" out of a blocked loo last week, so I could stick in an unblocking liquid. They make so many hassly situations involving funnels and liquids going everywhere a non issue. I just wish I could buy one sized for kitchen use!

Specific to my kitchen worktop brewery; Used to transfer from cooler to 1st fermenter, then drop fermenter, then cask. All on the same level. Vast improvement on syphoning which requires lifting 25 litres back and forth. It`s not very well made, but it works really well. Improve the build quality to make it more robust and it could be marketed to every home-brew outlet world-wide. HOWEVER; This pump has its motor and impeller at the base of the pick-up tube. The very similar looking pumps that have a long drive down through the tube from a motor at the top, DO NOT WORK WITH BEER. They drain some liquid back down the outside of the tube throughout operation. Very bad!

Did my first test to see how well this was going to work pumping water. First impressions are good. Very easy to use. Happy so far.
