No cracks, no tears, no recycle hassle.
I purchased the Sili-Seedlings Seed Starting Tray eons ago. I am so happy that I made the investment. I used them this year for early seed starting for spring crops (lettuce, early cabbage, pansies), head-start for summer replacement plants (tomatoes, pumpkins, melons) and then again for quick start fall (sprouts, cabbage). These pots are so flexible that you can pop out the seedings with no root damage and that minimizes transplant shock. Just wash and sterilize then plant again! Easy Peasy! No flimsy plastic torn containers to worry, "Is this a recycle number or is it trash?" Noteworthy is that these trays are deep ( 2 ยผโ active root space). They also have a shy ยพ inch slit in the bottoms for proper drainage. I like the end lifting tabs which keep you from squeezing the precious plants if you need to move the tray to a different light source, for example. Donโt hesitate to give the Sili Seedlings Silicone trays a try. You wonโt be disappointed.

Large cell size and durable
I ordered 2 of these 2 years ago not really expecting much. I had also bought a couple of seed starting trays from home depot & walmart at the same time. After one use on the first and 2 use on the second, the plastic trays from home depot/walmart degraded in the heat of the sun! Isn't plastic is supposed to last forever and hence we're getting rid of straws?? My true appreciation of these is the larger size that each cell allows you to grow larger seedlings before transplanting, while the home depot trays left me with compacted roots and small seedlings. Which is ok too, just lower survival rate after transplanting and sometimes I get really lazy to transplant them right away. Now 2 years latter, I am ordering a couple more of these expensive ones since I like the quality of the seedlings , and they are still in the same shape as when I first bought them despite having accidentally left one out in the sun for the past year..eeek! I read some of the bad reviews about price (agreed, it needs to be cheaper!) and that the other trays do the same. I guess if you are better at storing the cheaper trays immediately in a cool place after use, but I find that there's always so much to do around the garden you don't always remember to.

durable, dishwasher safe, less waste than old plastic style
I'm not a skilled gardener, but we've planted at least a few tomatoes every year for a couple of decades now. Last spring, we grew a lot more than usual as pandemic shortages had us nervous (plus everyone was at home more to help care for thirsty plants.) My favorite part about these silicone seed starting trays is their durability. Compared to those thin, fragile plastic trays, these should last many years--without special handling or care! I love that I can run them through the dishwasher to sterilize them. I washed my trays upon receipt to make sure they would stand up the dishwasher. They did. Having only two of these, I started only a dozen seeds in them. I used my usual combination of kitchenware for the rest of my seed starting (muffin tins, Rubbermaid containers, etc.) The leeks, celery, tomato, and eggplant starts grown in these were all successfully transplanted this weekend. I buy the seed starting pellets (I think they are coir?) for this purpose instead of using soil. This combination--silicone tray plus pop-up pellet medium--will store very compactly and allow a disinterested gardener such as myself to keep what is needed on hand over the winter. I wish these trays were less expensive, but I think they are a fair value at this price. I imagine larger quantities at bulk prices may someday be available. I can see the use of different sizes, but this was a reasonable place for the company to begin making a new product. I appreciate that the 2x3 format fits into a narrow pan since I start seeds on a windowsill.

The drain hole is a smallish slit.
The product seems adequate but the slit in the bottom may not be adequate for good drainage. Other than that the product seems OK.

Just what I needed.
These six cell silicone seed starters are perfect size, large drainage holes, and beautiful colors. Seedlings can stay in the cells much longer, making it possible to form a stronger root system. They are easy to clean. Did I mention how durable they will last for many seasons, saving me money.

Durable and Easy Starters
Iโm never going back to regular seed starters after using these. First off, I love that they are BPA free easy to clean silicon. They have slots at the bottom for drainage and are flexible so you can easily pop your starts out. These will last a long time. You wonโt be buying seed starter pots anymore, so over the long haul itโs a good investment. They donโt pop out one at a time super easy, but itโs possible. Itโs best to plan to take them all out at once, wash and start again. Will be buying more for sure!

Durable and Good Size
I really like these trays for when Iโm bumping up seedling starts, before they are ready to go outside or in a regular 4โx4โ pot. I was able to grow tomato seedlings in these until they reached over a foot, and the plants I put in them tend to seem happy. Plus theyโre easy to clean in the dishwasher. Iโve amassed 8 of these and will probably buy more.

Durable product
This is my 2nd purchase of the items. It is a little more expensive than the other plastic seedling tray you will find, but there is a reason. I have been using my first set purchased in 2021 and it is still going strong, I think they can last for a long time. Also it is a good size for me, slightly bigger than the plastic one you find here. I plan on replacing all of my trays with this one. Love the vibrant color too!

These seed trays are great. They make it easy to get the seedlings out and are easy to wash.

They are expensive but should last forever. I use them for sowing large seeds individually like squash or cucumber seeds per module. Or a few leek or beetroot seeds per module. Once they have germinated and it is time to plant them out it is really easy to get them out of the module - just squeeze the bottom. Love them.

Colour choices are useful to differentiate seedlings quickly and easily. Each of the six cells holds a decent amount of compost so the plants get properly established before needing to be potted on. Plants are easy to remove from the cells without damage as each cell is flexible and the tray doesn't crack or give way like plastic ones do. Very pleased and the initial expense is worth it both in terms of having something that is easy to sterilise after each use and that there is no plastic waste. As the trays are stackable they are easy to store.

Wish it had side slits but still awesome product

Awesome quality! Love them! I wish you could buy bigger packs of them though, they are a little pricey for the quantity.
