I think it works as intended it just doesn't do much for me. I do use it on occasion. It would probably do more if I used it more.

I had never heard of this type of product until I read an article on COPD. I use it and is a geat help in clearing my lungs and improving overall lung capacity.

Save your money, You can get a better lung workout by putting your palm against your mouth & breathing through closed fingers. No matter which ball I put inside it was impossible to get air through. It's no fun to clean either.
