I installed myself and when I plug in the aux sound doesn’t come out. I made sure I pressed external in the sound menu. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Older JVC Stereo Compatible *by R***N on September 23, 2014* Sound quality is great and cable seems to be good quality. No problems with installation after following the instructions to enable the port. This will not work in some JVC stereos if you do not enable the port as an AUX input in the menu. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfect with my JVC stereo! *by S***Y on November 2, 2011* My audio selection has become a lot better in my truck now because I have this auxiliary input. It was a super easy installation with my JVC stereo - it just plugs right in the back. I drilled a little hole in the stereo caddy for the auxiliary plug to come through and now I can hook it up to my smart phone and stream pandora, my cloud drive, or movies through my trucks speaker system! The actual cord is really thick and durable so it should last a long time.
