This is not the Jesus Christ of the New Testament ! Instead we get a shoddy rip off of Michael Landon's Highway to Heaven , only instead of an Angel turning up to help people - now we get The Lord Himself ! Except we don't because this Jesus is nothing but a self-help spiritual guru who shows up to help rich folks have both their treasures on earth and in heaven and help little girls get their mummy's and daddy's back together instead ! Surely if the real Jesus was to ever appear on planet earth again, don't you think He'd be where crack mothers are selling their babies for their next fix, or where innocent people are being massacred by dictator run countries ? That's never going to happen in this series though - such shocking and harsh realities would upset the sugar-coated audience that this series is clearly aimed at ! Bruce Marchiano is terrible as Jesus ! He may have played the part more than any other actor but that doesn't mean he's actually any good in that part - he isn't ! He also never misses an opportunity to show people the holes in his wrists - which again isn't scriptural because in John's Gospel, Jesus clearly tells Thomas to look at the holes in His hands !!! Jesus Himself warned his disciples about false Christ's who would pervert His teachings and message - and here we have exactly that !!! So if you want to know about the real Jesus, read about Him in the New Testament. If however you want a false version of Jesus that bears no resemblance to the one in the Bible, then this rubbishy series is for you and you are more-than welcome to it !!!

This is a very good series. Clean and very very good dvd. Very relatable.

I got season 1 and wish I knew of any more seasons done as this one was from 2016

I have every one of the encounters and the movies. They are told with Jesus as the center which He is in my life. They will truly bless you.
