We are a pool company that installs covers OFTEN. I use these when I have to drill through tile and marble. It works great. I was able to do almost 50 holes with just one bit. It really is worth the money.

I used this bit to drill holes in shower tile in order to attach grab bars. I tried two different diamond bits for my drill and it took 15 minutes per hole. Very frustrating! I fount this bit for an angle grinder and drilled 6 holes in 20 minutes. This made me very happy!

Great product at a great price. Maybe not for professional using every day but great for my single use. Instructions are excellent and after going through my granite countertop looks to have more life in it.

These just came in and I immediately tested them. I need them to hang grab bars and teak seats for a couple showered I have done for a customer. I’m very impressed. I put it on my Milwaukee cordless grinder. Drilled through a test piece of 3/8” porcelain in what felt like seconds. Used the bit dry with minimal pressure and stopped frequently to test the temp. Was surprisingly cool to the touch. Apart from the painted portion showing instant wear the diamonds seem to be good as new. I can’t speak to durability yet bc I’ve only made a test hole. But tomorrow I will need to make something like 40 holes. Will report back. Just wanted to stop by and say so far I’m impressed. I’ve used big box bits and it takes 5-10mins to drill a hole in tile and you’re lucky to get couple done before the bit starts failing. Will be using 1/4” anchors in the tile. Not for support(blocking was installed pre tile prep) but to keep the screws from making contact with the tile. Essentially a bushing.

Summary: Adding a few grab bars to dad's shower. I used a lot of products for this project, so including all related products in this review. Recommendation: 1) When mounting grab bars, it's always easier if you can find the stud to attach to. In this vertical install, I decided to use a stud and Wing-Its anchors; partially because I wasn't sure I could hit both, and didn't want to put two fasteners vertically (on either the right or left only), but that would also position the bar in the shower a little too far in (towards the shower control). 2) The WingIts requires a 3/4" hole through the mounting material. For tile, this can be especially challenging. I used the SHDIATOOL diamond 3/4" bit, with the DRILLAX adapter to get through the tile, and then used the 3/4" BOSCH bit to finish through the dry wall. Also used the BOSCH bits for the other small hole. Having the right tool for the job is the difference between project completion, and a messy, disaster. Good quality, sharpness

It would not thread completely into a standard hole saw mandrel (2nd pic) Made it about half way and it locked down like the thread pitch was off. Put it in a vice and locked it down w a wrench. Sacrificed a mandrel for it, no biggie. Start real slow and angled till u get a groove then straighten up. Worked good and was 1/3 the price of one at Lowe’s and HD. The granite core stayed stock in bit so I either have to figure out how to beat it out or it’s a one and done bit. If I have more than one hole to do keep that in mind. Would buy it again.

Does what it says cut 2 holes through 1 1/4” thick firebrick. Cut was clean but did have to applied some pressure to get through. Cutting speed was about a minute to get through the material. Lots of diamond grit still on hole-saw after the 2 hole. I believe it will last a bit longer. Function like the description said and it was a fair price.
