Non-Refillable Chalk Shot

This chalk sock is useful in practice. The chalk is fine, but still easily dispenses when needed quickly. There is enough chalk to last some time even under heavy use from sweaty hands, and fits well in an average chalk bag. The price is reasonable as well, fully recommended.

Does a good job getting a very even coating of chalk on the hands. I roll it in my hands to get an even coating while bouldering. What I do is press it into the chalk bag so the other side of the ball gets a good coating, then I rotate it by walking my fingers over it so it makes its way in a full 360 as I continue to press the opposite side into the loose chalk in the bag. This sounds slow but it's very quick for me, and I don't need a refillable chalk bag to do it this way. I found that the coating was less than optimal for bouldering when I just squeezed the ball, even when it was new, which is why I gave it four stars. But even then, the coating was even at least.

Well, it's chalk. It does what it's supposed to do and was cheap. I use it about once or twice a week to chalk my hands for deadlifting and I have no complaints so far. It will probably last me at least a year.

This chalk gets more on the floor and in the air then on your hands. When you go to use it it just poofs everywhere. Should have just bought a bag of chalk to dip my hands it!

I thought I was getting waaaaaaaaay more chalk. Wow you hardly get any for the price.

Works great outside when the humidity is low....less so in the gym when I'm sweating a lot. Seems like the cloth material swells a little with humidity or contact with my sweaty self. Gives much less chalk after that happens. Didn't have that problem with rented chalk bags, but they were old enough to have a lot of loose chalk in the bag. This problem might be a good thing if you're looking to reduce the amount of chalk floating around though.

Works well, doesn't get chalk all over the climbing gym's new floor. I feel like it will last a while. Great quality chalk as well! Doesn't bunch up.

It's chalk. Dries your hands out, gives you grip. It comes in that same sock that I'm used to. Could theoretically be used for hardcore (or extended) console gaming, for those of you who hadn't realized this yet.

Excellent product, and excellent customer service. I use the chalk for Yoga, it works a treat.

Quite a good product. Im using it mostly for deadlifting and I must say it helps a lot for that!
