Very happy with this purchase. I did a speed test with and without this extender and there was essentially no difference in my read and write speeds for my Samsung T7 SSD which can support 1gb read and write. I purchased it because I have a case on the drive that prevents the cable it came with from penetrating completely. Super surprised that this company seems to be the only one that produces something like this on Amazon.. I've seen some cables with extended connectors on them but I didn't want to replace the entire cable and wasn't sure if I could trust the quality of said cables. It's better to have the connector that I can shift between cables anyway... Will gladly buy again if I need another one

Ease of use and functionality is true. Value for money was okay. Real portable, connects easy, no noise. Works well if your case is super rigged for protection. Good for kids devices.

This is the USB extension to buy if you have ANY phone or tablet case!!

I have a USB C extension cord - a USB C male plug on one end and a USB C female plug on the other. USB C male plugs to be attached to this extension cord would not stay plugged in. They never engaged. It turned out that this female socket was a specialty design that requires a 10mm USB C male plug to latch and remain attached. This specialty adapter has the longer required USB C male plug to work with the extension cord socket. The female socket on the other side is a standard 6.5mm USB C female fitting. This longer male plug will still latch into a normal USB C socket. It will just stick out a little further than a standard plug. In other situations due to phone or tablet case design, an attached USB C plug cannot be inserted deeply enough into item's socket to engage requiring the case to be removed. This adapter can often solve this problem. So, this is a specialized adapter that most won't need, but which a few will really appreciate. It is solidly built and ready to work with most USB demands from rapid charging, high speed data communications and video monitor connections. In other words, it is ready to work with any performance requirement. It comes with a small blue indicator light when powered and it has a small, handy lanyard for easy, loss free storage.

I recently acquired a tablet mount for my iPad, which I've permanently attached to a side table next to my recliner. The mount securely clamps my iPad from the top and bottom in portrait mode. However, I quickly realized that my 90-degree USB-C plug wouldn't work with the mount. To solve this, I needed either a straight power plug or a USB-C Male to Female Adapter to slightly extend the port. After some searching on Amazon, I found exactly what I needed—this USB-C port extender. Works fine

A number of years ago I purchased a usb-c Lenovo Thinkpad dock for my Yoga and it has worked out well with every laptop I've plugged into it, providing 2 monitor outputs, ethernet, 6 usb/usb-c ports, and power delivery. However, there is one fatal flaw.... The usb-c connection to connect to the laptop is recessed, and any third party usb-c cable with extra length does not fit in this narrow space. Lenovo has some extra narrow head cable... Enter the 10mm tip USB-C extender! The added length of this tip allows me to use any length USB4 cable I like, and locate my laptop further from the docking station. I'm sure this is a niche use case, but very glad to come across this little extender!

C'est adaptateur est une excellente idée. Oui, suivant les équipements, il pourra vous manquer quelques mm alors cet adaptateur est là pour vous aider. Votre Smartphone a une coque de protection et celle-ci est épaisse, vous voilà donc avec un câble qui ne tient pas. Vous n'aurez plus besoin d'enlever la coque de protection avec cet adaptateur. Oui, avec son centimètre de longeur, il viendra compenser la surépaisseur de la coque de protection. Vous pourrez maintenant connecter votre câble pour recharger votre Smartphone, pour échanger des données ou autres. Faire l'acquisition de cet adaptateur est donc une bonne idée. Bon achat à vous.

Cela a résolu mon problème de fiche USB C qui ne tenait pas. Je pensais que la norme USB C était un standard mais il y a 2 longueurs.

I hate the series of poor design decisions that makes this seemingly pointless adaptor necessary, but I can't deny that it does work and makes the USB-C PCI card in my computer usable when previously most cables would be blocked by the case before being fully inserted into the port.
