Retired but still want to learn
I majored in physics 60 years ago and lost interest because I felt like I could never understand the advanced stuff (cop out for laziness!!) so I took mundane engineering jobs and left the physics for the smart guys. This book has explained quantum physics ideas in a way that motivates me to accept the craziness of quantum mechanics and dust off the math skills (I now have MATLAB to do the heavy lifting instead of a slide rule!!) and dig in and do some quantum mechanics calculations.

Disappointed
The book has nice (short) overviews of some of the major contributors to quantum physics, but I was disappointed in the treatment of basic quantum physics concepts. For example, the book never points out that particle 'spin' doesn't mean the particle is going around in circles or that 'observation' doesn't mean a person looking at the particle. In fact, it kind of leans into these misconceptions, which contributes to a basic misunderstanding of what's really going on. I was hoping for more of a user-friendly clearing up of misconceptions. The book also gets into some metaphysical stuff (law of attraction, manifesting reality) that really has no legitimacy in the science of quantum physics.

Don't buy - most likely AI generated
As other reviewers note, this "independently published" book is most likely AI generated. At best it is poorly edited given that the same paragraphs of text are repeated verbatim in places. There is relatively little content and lots of repetition and page spacing to make it appear a longer book than it is. Save your money and just ask ChatGPT to explain quantum physics to you. I got a refund from Amazon.
