Such a simple item, so much better than all of the others, and I've tried them all. The first mat I bought for my new sink (not this mat) left scratches that are there to this day. Because of that I tried the pebble style. They were good for a while, but over time, soap and oils make them greasy and cloudy no matter how hard you try to clean them. On to THIS mat: it's perfect. It sits slightly off the surface, but the feet do not scratch. Easy to move when you want to use the disposal, cleans up well, fits perfectly, anti-bacterial so it doesn't get a stink, and on and on. Rarely do I buy an item that does everything I expect it to do. I see these mats as lasting for a very long time. Highly recommended.

I wasn't sure how I would like it, I've always used the metal sink protectors with the hole in the center for the garbage disposal, but I'm very happy I tried something new (for me). I like it better than the metal ones. It fits nicely in the sink , dishes and utensils sit flat, with no danger of your utensils falling into the garbage disposal. The design allows small scraps of food to wash right through the holes. It's easy to clean--I normally just spray it with my natural cleanser, or if I wash a few dishes by hand, I wash it the last thing. It's dishwasher safe, but I have not washed mine in the dishwasher. It's light weight, yet sturdy; when I use the garbage disposal, I just put it in the other sink, use the disposal, and put it back--it's actually less hassle than the metal ones.

I think my mother gave me my old Rubbermaid sink mats in the 90s. I wanted to replace them this year because they'd become a little discolored (otherwise perfect). I bought two kinds (name brands you'd probably recognize) with astonishingly poor results - one deformed just from draining one pot of boiling pasta. I bought Rubbermaid (this on one side, a little different on the other) mats a few months ago. They still look exactly as they did when I took them out of the box. Lesson learned the hard way: Rubbermaid is much better than what I thought were also trustworthy brands.

This serves it's purpose well. Sippy cup pieces and medicine droppers kept finding their way into the garbage disposal, despite my repeated request to not put those items on that side of the sink when washing dishes. Enter the sink mat! It's a tad larger than our sink but still fits ok and keeps small parts from falling to their doom. The slits enable water to flow through while rinsing dishes so a puddle doesn't form. We've used it for a few weeks now and haven't had any issues. The quality seems durable and there has been no mold or residue build up. We rinse after each use and stand it up in the dish drainer to dry.

This Rubbermaid mat is high quality and thick and heavy enough that it stays put at the bottom of the sink (lighter weight ones will sometimes float around when the sink is filled with water). It has tiny rubber feet on the bottom to keep it slightly raised, so that water and stuff will flow through and underneath it, down the drain. This is the smaller size, but since the bottom of my sink is rounded in, the actual flat part of the sink floor is small. This mat conforms to the rounded bottom of my sink. Because the mat is black, any stains won't show. Other posters have complained about the mat getting dirty or whatever. You have to clean all sink mats, and clean the sink underneath them, of course. This mat has done an excellent job protecting my enamel sink and stainless drains, as well as preventing breakage of dishes. It's great when products turn out to be as advertised.

I originally ordered 2 large mats but it was too large for my sink with the disposal in it so I came back and bought the small size. Make sure you measure your sinks with an accurate tape measure. Other buyers have complained about staining.. when I clean the sink I remove the mats. I put the mats back in and wash both sides with a brush, I keep the mats clean and don't put garbage over them, I put my wet garbage down the disposal or in a plastic bag in the garbage. I would never rinse a plate with tomato sauce or mustard in the sink before I removed the mats. I like the legs on the bottom of the mat because you can clean it easily with a brush along with the top of the mat. Food does NOT get stuck in the mat..cans and bowls or pots that you hand wash drain well in the sink on the mats. My daughter plans to buy a set for her sink now too.

We've had this mat for about two weeks now, and it's been a MAJOR upgrade over our prior drying... thing. Actually, comparing this mat to the last plastic drainer that we used under our drying rack does this product a disservice -- it's a night and day difference. This mat is sturdy, but also flexible and very easy to clean. It also doesn't build up mold / grossness anywhere near as fast as prior drying mats I've used in the past. Really glad I bought two off the bat -- I've got one to use and one to admire from afar, since I'm pretty sure this mat is going to last quite a while.

The mat is quite durable, like others I have had in the past. It does not have "feet" on the bottom, so bits of food get stuck under the mat. The mat has to be lifted out of the sink to rinse bits of food into the drain/disposal. I can live with this. What has disappointed me is that the mat has turned red from rinsing a tomato based soup from dishes and pans. I have soaked it in bleach. I have scrubbed it with anything I can think of. I have used an Eraser Sponge on it. No effect. I'll still use the mat but am not happy with the discoloration/staining.

Este es para reemplazar a mi antiguo tapete de la misma marca. El anterior era más flexible, pero tenía contacto con la humedad de la tarja y se le formaban hongos. Este es menos flexible pero no es problema. Me gusta que viene con la forma de evitar la acumulación de humedad por debajo. Este permite muy bien el paso del agua y desperdicios debajo del tapete. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Good quality. Durable. Sits slightly higher and therefore lets the food debris get caught in the food catcher :)

The material is very suitable as a sink mat as food does not get stuck to it. It is also quite easy to clean.

The product is overly expensive for size and composition but it's what I wanted, thus useful. I needes a padding for my new granite sink to prevent scratches and the design of this small mat with holes was ideal. When I put metal pots into the sink, I rest them on the mat which rinses quickly as water can flow under it.

We like this as we have a white sink and most sink mats are charcoal or other dark color. The stay put in the sink and do not float up when the sink if full of water. The only complaint was that the product description doesn’t tell you the size. But the fit our standard sinks. They are easy to clean.
