My previous pop-up style trash can just wasn’t cutting it, so I opted to try something new.This trash system attaches to the back of a headrest with a plastic buckle clip. I like how it’s elevated so I don’t have trash on the floor. It’s also helped me remember to empty it more often because it’s in my line of sight. I have it hanging behind the passenger seat and I can easily (and safely) reach over to deposit trash while driving.This item seems to be constructed similarly to a vinyl lunchbox. The inside is lined with smooth malleable plastic material and easy to rinse out and clean. I put glade trash-bags in it and it keeps everything smelling good and no risk of a bag leaking. The exterior is lined with a durable fabric material. The interior material is the same as the waterproof lining in your soft case lunch bag or cooler. However, as the bottom seam is stitched, it's no longer waterproof... so careful throwing away a non-empty water/pop bottle. I tested this by filling up the bag 1/3 full of water. Sandwiched inside the front and back side walls appears to be stiff cardboard to help it retain it's square shape. The reason why I think it's cardboard is after my water test, the bottom 1/3 of the walls is now soft. The Velcro strap on one side of the bag enables you to strap it securely around the head rest or perhaps your center console (car design dependent) and is adjustable from 13.5" to 33". My bag had one manufacturing defect. The tip of the Velcro strap was sew into the bottom seam. Thankfully, I was able to just cut a few mm of the tip off to free the strap. Because this was probably a rare issue and the minor fix didn't affect the product look and function, I didn't take any stars off. The size and firm shape makes this an ideal trash bag for your vehicle.
