Für Selbstbastler absolut geeignet. Sehr solide Ausführung, sehr gute Anleitung. Aber eben nur, wenn man Zeit für ein solches Projekt hat.

The materials seem sturdy but 2 problems: The pistons are super strong and the instructions and the building plan they contain are only guidelines, bad ones at that. I bought a $99 bed from Ikea, built the cabinet based on its measurements (altogether CAD447 so far in addition to the kit price, and there's still the bottom/cover to add). I used pistons from the horizontal bed kit, saw how strong they were, I turned the project vertical and still the bed won't stay down on its own. Seller support is prompt but they don't answer questions unless repeated several times. They keep sending the instructions and the video of how nicely a finished project bed goes down on its own. I'll make a steel brace to hold the bed down because I don't want to add weight artificially. Or just remove the pistons and fix the bed when up with a couple of sliding latches on the top side. I'll update the review when I figure out a solution. All in all it looks good after working on it 4 full days (2 weekends) and a ton of problem solving, measurements and 4 trips to Home Depot.
