Brilliant. The best varnish.
I bought a classic boat and asked a classic boat restorer what to use. One of the best bits of advice I've been given in my boating. Brilliant stuff. But... I followed his advice only after not following it and finding out the hard way! After keying the surface dilute the first thin coat 50% with No1 thinners, then the next two coats in higher concentrations of varnish. Also apply in humidity below 80% and temperature above 10 and preferably 15 degrees C and at least 24 hours between coats. High humidity can cause it to go milky and I can tell you from experience rubbing it all down again ain't fun.

The original & the best
I've used various yacht vanish brands over the past 50 plus years and always return to International for demanding jobs. It simply lasts better than many so called marine application products & has never let me down. Easy to apply but ensure every coat is fully dried before applying another. This can take time but is well worth it.

Thick glossy good finish with thinners
Easy to use, but it is quite thick so I recommend using a small amount of thinners to get that high gloss smooth finish you are looking for.

Want it done right? Pay a lil more and get what u pay for. Never used anything else. Fabulous and lasts around 3 years before needing a revisit

If you want a decent wood varnish for outdoors you won't get better. IYV has been tried & tested for years. Use white spirit for cleaning up. I now see it advertised for £18.05 by someone else. Whatever
