Easy to Use
I like to always mention I do not get paid in any way for leaving my reviews so I try to be as honest and helpful as possible since I make most of my buying decisions by reading others reviews. Why I purchased it: I got this item as somehow the cap went missing from the vent for my dryer pipe. Pros: -solid quality with nice metal mesh to stop anything from going down the pipe. -Got the exact size as needed -Price was cheaper than local retail store Cons: -none so far

Good vent termination
This is a good vent termination. Good size and fit 3” pvc perfect. Good value for price. Seems strong and easy to install.

Pool heater Vent.
Working great for a outdoor Pentair ETi400 Pool heater exhaust/vent outlet. Keeps the dirt and debris out of the exhaust system and float sensor area.

Great quality but didn’t fit
My high efficiency gas furnace exhaust 2” schedule 40 pvc vent pipe the fitting wouldn’t fit on vent pipe. The fitting ID was too small. I went to Lowe’s and bought a 90 degree fitting and work perfectly.

Perfect fit for 3” pool backwash line
Perfect for pool backwash line! Our pool builder installed the backwash line in the flowerbed next to one of our trees, however there is an open gap for air, per code. I had a concern with animals, such as frogs, getting trapped inside the line. I looked for options to prevent or lower the chance for this to happen, and came across this item. It fits perfectly over my 3” pvc pipe. In fact, I did not glue it to the line, but instead let it sit so I can remove it if there were any foreseen future issues. The mesh still allows for air flow down the line to maintain code compliance.

Attached outside and not inside
2-inch vent cap fits perfectly on the outside of the vent- other brands fit inside the vent and reduce the size of the vent opening
