Do Not Lick This Book

My granddaughters favorite book! She even picked it for me to read to her 5K class when I went as a guest reader so I purchased a second one to gift our classroom.

This is a funny and informative book to teach young kids about germs. I bought this book to use in my kindergarten classroom and the kids love it. You take Min the microbe on an adventure looking closely at germs and how they are spread. It does a nice job of showing how gross germs are but also keeps it cute and silly for young readers to understand and stay engaged while also allowing for deeper discussion. I incorporate this into our science lessons about germs and how they are spread.

My kids (3 and 1)love this book they love the interactive part of it putting their fingers on the circle to pick up min. We have been using a digital microscope to look at all types of things super close up so this really brought it all together in a fun educational way.

Does your child hate washing their hands? Well, this book helps them to understand what germs are and how they are transferred from one thing to another. I really like the book, but my child still hates washing his hands.

Purchase this book along with another to help my classrooms learn about germs. The kids love seeing the germs in the book and that you can lick a spot on the back. They did not want to lick the book. We also did an experiment learning about handwashing in our class. They have been really working on washing hands now.

My granddaughters showed me this book at the library we read it right then I knew I had to have it. It is hilarious kids loves it I loved it I love watching their eyes light up when they see something so unbelievably interesting and hilarious. They made this book just perfect for a young reader

My 7-year-old son LOVES this book. It teaches you about the kind of germs you can find all around us in a fun and interesting way. My son has turned this into a game he likes to imaginatively play. HIGHLY recommend for the young people in your life.

This book teaches children about germs in a fun way that keeps them engaged with the story. Months later, I still get specific questions about Min, Rae, Dennis, and Jake. If your child is less than enthusiastic about brushing teeth, this book can change that, immediately.

This book is great! My 6 year loved it. We all learned from it's contents and we're no longer tempted to lick the book by the end! Wish there were other ones like this. Definitely piqued my sons curiosity and got him reading!
