I was having problems file sharing between external drives and my Macbook Pro using various adaptors etc so i bought this cable for direct connection which has made my life much easier, it is a quality lead!

Needed a Micro B USB3 to USB C cable to replace a USB3 A version. This works perfectly for that task. On a whole I have found Ugreen products to be reliable.

I've bought a few of these cables now, brilliant upgrade for your storage. I bought the first one to try and speed up the read write speeds of my external HDD I use to store my PS4 games when playing my PS5, obviously there are limitations to how much faster these two components can interact, but the difference a simple high speed cable can make truly is night and day, granted not as fast as playing the game from the console storage, but certainly faster than with the USB-A cable that came with the drive. I then bought a 2nd cable when I got an external SSD for photo/video storage, much faster transfer speeds when using a high end cable. UGREEN hasn't let me down yet 😄

Prima kabel als vervanger van de originele USB-A 2.0 kabel op mijn oude Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 750GB externe HDD.

Ich nutze das Kabel seit einiger Zeit um meine externe Festplatte für Backups direkt an den PC anzuschliessen. Es ist definitiv ein Upgrade zu den ganz billigen No-Name-Produkten da die Übertragungsrate stabil bleibt und das Nylon-Geflecht einen sehr robusten Eindruck macht. Für den Preis den man hier zahlt bekommt man eine wirklich ordentliche Qualität geliefert. Allerdings muss man ehrlich sagen dass auch dieses Kabel die typische Schwäche des breiten Micro-B-Anschlusses nicht ganz wegzaubern kann. Obwohl die Festplatte fast nur an einer Stelle liegt merkt man mit der Zeit dass der Stecker nicht mehr ganz so extrem stramm sitzt wie am ersten Tag. Das ist aber eher ein Problem dieser speziellen Stecker-Bauart und liegt nicht direkt an einer schlechten Verarbeitung des Kabels. Sobald man die Platte mal bewegt sollte man einfach kurz prüfen ob alles noch fest sitzt. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden da es genau das macht was es soll: Eine schnelle und unkomplizierte Verbindung ohne nervige Adapter. Die Daten werden zügig übertragen und das Kabel fühlt sich durch die Ummantelung wertig an. Wer eine zuverlässige Lösung für seine alten Platten sucht macht hier bei diesem Preis absolut nichts falsch.
