Orange-Sol De-Sovl-it Contractors Solvent 10131 32 OZ

This product was purchased for removal of overflow of plumber's black adhesive used for setting in a toilet. The black rim of adhesive extended onto light colored tile. Prior scrubbing with cleansers and, even use of GooGone, had no effect on removal of the adhesive. This product quickly began to loosen the overflow of black adhesive, was easy to clean up, and had a pleasant fragrance. Wearing disposable gloves during use is encouraged. Paper towels are sufficient to wipe away excess mess.

I needed to remove old construction adhesive from wood floor pieces so that I could glue them down again. The glue was about 15 years old and hard as a rock. This product was amazing! It started softening the top layer within minutes of application. I scraped off the top layer and then sprayed again and left it overnight. When I went to remove the glue the next day it had been turned in to putty and simply slide off the old wood. Since then I have used it to clean a very dirty wire shelf and a window with dried, gunky window clings. It worked with in seconds on both of these items and made cleaning them a breeze. I have tried several other products with no success so I was really pleased. I really like that this is made from natural ingredients. There is still a strong odor but it felt safe to use around my daughter and pets and safe to use in a confined space. I would highly recommend this product!!

I moved into a newly renovated apt, from ceiling to floor windows to appliances fresh and new. The only problem was spots and strips of adhesive glue used to install the hardwood floor. Every room had some section with that glue, nothing seemed to work, multiple products. I was about to contact management if this item did not work. Just a light mist and 30 seconds and all of the patches wiped right off, without harming the new floor. This product is awsome, a little goes a long way.

This product makes a job that is nearly impossible quite doable, but not necessarily easy. I used it to remove caulk and it was well worth the purchase. I still had to scrape but without this product even scraping wasn’t really working.

Contractors solvent should be a heavy duty cleaner, but to me, it just seems like an Orange, citrus based cleaner that is available for half the price. It’s seems mild, but also doesn’t damage some surfaces that a more powerful cleaner would damage. This product seems overhyped as a powerful cleaner at a high price, but performs like a standard citrus cleaner that is cheaper.

I work as a facilities mechanic, and this stuff cleans up everything we can throw at it. We have used it on gum out of the carpet, grease and oil from the floors and walls, and even to remove spray foam. Not only would I buy it again this is the third case that we have used. The scent can be a little strong but it dissipates quickly.

I bought this to remove black mastic adhesive from my bathroom floor after linoleum was pulled and before laying tile. I didn't know if the mastic had asbestos (laid in 1971), so it was important to keep liquified as it came up. I used a 4" scraper and had to apply twice, but the end result was great. I also used krud kutter after because the De-Solv-It is oil based. Used a lot of elbow grease but the result was great--I would recommend

Cumple el propósito para retirar goma, en lo particular lo utilice para quitar cita y goma de vidrio y funciono bastante bien, recomiendo dejar reposar unos minutos. El problema es en el atomizador que por lo espeso del liquido deja de funcionar muy rápido, por lo que recomiendo tener un repuesto a la mano.
