Works well. Touch ID is a game changer.
Nice keyboard. Could use a way to adjust the angle, but I just tape foam wedges under it. The touch ID saves so much time logging in to everything that it's become an essential device.

Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, Works Perfectly
I recently purchased the Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and I must say it is a game-changer. This keyboard is the perfect blend of form and function, with a sleek and stylish design and a wide range of features that make it a pleasure to use. The standout feature of this keyboard is undoubtedly the Touch ID sensor. It allows me to log in to my MacBook Pro with just a touch of my finger, making the whole process quick and effortless. This added security feature gives me peace of mind knowing that my computer and sensitive data are protected from unauthorized access. In addition to the Touch ID sensor, this keyboard has a host of other impressive features. The keys are well-spaced and have a satisfying amount of travel, making typing a breeze. The backlit keys are a nice touch, especially when working in dimly lit environments. The battery life is exceptional, lasting for weeks on a single charge. The build quality of this keyboard is exceptional, as expected from Apple. The slim and minimalistic design is a pleasure to look at and feels great to type on. The keys have a satisfying amount of resistance, and the overall feel of the keyboard is premium. Overall, I highly recommend the Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID to anyone looking for a top-of-the-line keyboard with added security features. It is a joy to use, and the attention to detail and quality craftsmanship make it well worth the investment.

I’ll always love this keyboard.
This is easily my favorite keyboard. Touch ID works instantly, the typing feel is smooth and precise, and pairing with my Mac is effortless. It’s one of those accessories you don’t really appreciate until you use it — and once you do, you don’t want anything else. I’ll always love this keyboard.

Of course, had to do it...
This is a perfect integration with my new Mac Mini. I added the trackpad and a portable HD screen and I now have a laptop equivalent. Having TouchID on the keyboard is great to quickly get back to Mac without stopping to type a passphrase. The size and construction is perfect (I might seek a slip cover for portability). Charging is rarely needed (I've had this for quite a while and only charged it once (to see how long it would take, but to be fair, the battery was at 80% so I don't really know how long it will last before needing a full charge) the connection is fine and charge speed seems fast). It looks like this should out last the computer it's connected to (and maybe the next). Yes it is pricey, but SO nicey.

Great keyboard to useand Touch ID is awesome, but it's Apple: competitors offer more for less
Pros: If you like the keyboard feel from Apple laptops this is for you. Small, portable, light weight. Battery life is good. Touch ID cool. Cons: No backlight, which make this borderline a horrendous value. So yeah, price is the only real Con since it's expensive with competitor brands being as good (or better) in quality for better in price. Summary: If you really want Touch ID in a USB keyboard, this is good. I enjoy typing on it. Otherwise, if you don't care about Touch ID, and want a similar form factor, get the Logitech MX Keys Mini. Don't even bother with this that's a way way way way better value

Comfort, Portability, and a Touch of Genius
I’ve always been a fan of larger keyboards—they give you that satisfying, spacious feel. But the Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID? It’s a whole different story. This keyboard is all about comfort and portability, and it delivers on both fronts. The compact size makes it perfect for slipping into a bag and taking anywhere, yet it doesn’t sacrifice the comfort of hand placement. Typing feels natural, with just the right amount of spacing and key travel to keep your wrists and fingers happy, even during long work sessions. The built-in Touch ID is a game-changer—it makes unlocking your Mac and authorizing purchases seamless and secure. No more typing passwords every five seconds! Plus, the Bluetooth connectivity and rechargeable battery mean fewer cables and more convenience. It’s lightweight yet sturdy, and the design is quintessential Apple—minimalist and elegant. If you’re someone who values portability but doesn’t want to compromise on typing comfort, this keyboard strikes the perfect balance. For me, this keyboard has become the go-to for both work and travel. It’s a 10/10 in my book—comfortable, portable, and packed with features that make life easier!

The best keyboard for Apple. Touch ID is a must!
I have tried other brand, but this is a 10 for me. Works seamlessly with Apple and the Touch ID is fabulous.

I wish I had this keyboard 2 years ago when I bought my latest MacBook, how the MacBook keyboard looks worn out. Keyboard worked as expected.

Hi folks. I bought this keyboard because I got sick of MX Keys's key press inconsistency, and mushy feel and the concave keycaps. I also got sick of my mechanical keyboard being so bulky and heavy and loud, and the keypresses are so deep it requires a huge amount of finger motions. Even though my hands fatigue less often. The Apple Magic keyboard is a good keyboard. It relieves you from hearing noises and the deep key presses. Your hands will need time to adjust, but once you adjusted, you can nail the keys and have good accuracy. I recommend keeping the mechanical keyboard, if you have one. I recommend switching from the MX Keys to Magic Keyboard. It has no backlight, but I touch type anyway and do not rely on keyboard backlight. As a programmer, touch typing is basically a must. I love how it looks.

Love this keyboard! I went from a MacBook Pro to a Mac Mini and was missing the touch ID. This compact keyboard gave me back the touch ID.

Own so many custome mechanical keyboards, low profile mechanical keyboard, ergo keyboard like kinesis advantage 2, moonlander. Magic keyboard still the best keyboard. After using it, I cannot use other keyboard now. Is worth to buy the none touch ID version if you don’t have any m1 chip mac machine. I use it on windows, linux, mac and ipad.

It works exactly how I expected. It’s the only keyboard I can find with the same fn key layout as the MacBooks, so I don’t need to relearn touch typing the fn key. The Touch ID does not work for intel macs. Touch ID only works on m1 macs.
