Extending my vacuum's life for $16 is fantastic! Works great
Perfect fit replacement part on Dyson UP20 Ball Animal 2. My internal hose had developed holes and had to be replaced. This required removing both sides of the ball and about 8 screws to reach the hose and some finagling. But my vacuum works like new! Extending the life of my $400 vacuum for about $16 is of great value to me! Not easy but not too difficult. Took about an hour.

Great replacement, difficult but not impossible to actually install.
Seems to have resolved my issue and is a suitable repair. Does anyone know if the ring piece with the clip is sold separately? Also, be VERY careful inserting the screw to secure the clip end of the hose. It's a very tiny screw and if you misalign the screw and the threaded hole, you can easily damage the threaded hole.

Perfect Fit
It is a perfect replacement for the original hose. Installing it takes some time but anyone with a little mechanical ability can do it. I followed a YouTube video to aid in the step by step process.

It's junk
Junk. Installed and after the first use, the plastic hose separated from the hard plastic receiver. I took it apart again and installed it again and it came apart again. It just is a cheap part and poorly manufactured. The hose needs to be attached in a different manner so it won't separate and come apart.

Yes!! It works!
I was able to fix my old Dyson with this part!! Watched a YouTube video (over and over again…), and only cried during the process maybe twice? But I got it done and you can too!!

I ordered this part direct from Dyson and they sent me the wrong part despite giving them my model number several times. When I called to set up a return and exchange, I had to do their job for them and give them the actual part number only to find out it wasn't in stock. So I ordered this, got it in half the time for about the same price as Dyson, now my machine works good as new. Skip the hassles with Dyson and just order here straight out of the gate.
