Quality issues
Product quality issues. Mixture is too liquid. Box had been opened and was full of loose powder inside. The application didn’t work. It was just a watery liquid dripping down my face. Did some research on Reddit, seems it isn’t supposed to be like that but they’re having product issues recently. Seems to correlate with changing warehouse. Many complaining that it’s not the product it used to be.

Love it!
I love this hair color restorer! However, the last few times I have ordered it, the restore liquid inside the box didn’t mix with the restore powder properly. I contacted Hairprint directly and they said there was a problem with manufacturing. I returned the box and reordered it. You will know the Resore Liquid is bad if the liquid is transparent when you hold it up to a light. The liquid should be a cloudy color.

Old product
I received old product. I have been using Hairprint for many years. It is a thick liquid that thickens even more when mixed with the powder. When the product gets old it turns to a water consistency and doesn’t work. I requested a refund and instead received a replacement with more old watery leaky product. Do not buy from this company. They sell old product! Hairprint is a wonderful alternative to hair dye which I am allergic to. I will only order from the company directly now. I just needed it quickly but that didn’t work out. Be aware. Here is a video of the liquid. It is watery not how it should be.

Great product! Have been using it for years.
This is a fantastic product. I have been using it for years and get full cover. It needs to be applied according to the instructions on the video and works well. It is messy and takes longer than normal hair dyes but I am so grateful for a hair dye that does not have chemicals and have not found a better option yet.

Do not waste your money
I have never written a product review before, but this is genuinely one of the worst products I have ever used. First, there was absolutely no color payoff. I followed the instructions carefully: I cleansed my hair with a chelating shampoo, used the preparation liquid, and completed all three steps exactly as directed. The result? Zero color change. The lack of results isn't even the biggest issue. The application process is incredibly messy and frustrating. It stains everything it touches. Thankfully, I applied it outdoors, yet it still managed to stain my porch floor. The product itself was also inconsistent. The two "Restore" packets contained completely different substances. One was a fine powder, while the other contained hard charcoal-like lumps. The instructions say to pour in the entire liquid packet, but doing so created a watery mixture that would not foam properly. One mixture became foamy, while the other turned into a messy charcoal sludge. The application takes a long time, which I expected, but the complete lack of results combined with the extremely messy process makes this product a complete waste of time and money. I honestly can't tell whether my product was old and had hardened over time or if this is how it's supposed to be. Either way, I have no idea how anyone is expected to make a smooth paste out of charcoal-like chunks. I would not recommend this product.

Rating: 2/5 stars this batch was very disappointing…
I have always used Hairprint and it has been a lifesaver for me. Unlike traditional hair dyes, it never caused allergic reactions and it covered my gray hair very well. Unfortunately, this time the product quality was very disappointing. The Restore Liquid was extremely watery, whereas in the past it had a gel-like consistency. When mixed with the powder, it used to create a thick mixture that was easy to apply to the hair. This time, however, the mixture was as thin as water and impossible to apply properly. It kept dripping and running everywhere, making the application process very frustrating. I am very disappointed because I have trusted and used this brand for years, but this batch seems to be of much lower quality than what I have experienced before.

What is happening with with quality?
Usually, I am happy with the quality, but this past delivery was different and disappointing. The packages this time had expanded and leaked. The consistency was so runny that I couldn’t apply it, it just ran down my face and body. It was watery and not foamy as usual. I also noticed that the expiry label was missing, which I usually see on the packaging. I really hope the next delivery is better.

Mixed Results — One Bottle Leaked, Some Gray Left Uncovered
I used Hairprint Plus this morning and dedicated about 5 hours to the whole process, including prep and cleanup. I followed the instructions closely and even extended each step by 20–30 minutes in hopes of improving the result. One issue I ran into was that one of the three Restore solutions had leaked before I opened it. Its consistency felt off—more watery than the other two—which I suspect affected the overall performance. Since I had already set aside the time and was ready to go, I decided to use it anyway rather than reschedule everything. The final result wasn’t perfect—some grays are still visible—but my hair looks darker overall and feels healthy. I’m not sure how long the color will last since I just did it today, but I’m cautiously optimistic. If all the components had been in good condition, I believe the coverage would have been better.
