I’ve got a 1000g tub. It says salt is 14.3g per 100g

Q: Hi how spicy is this? We used the green curry one but my young children found it too spicy

Everyone's palate is different, but for me the Massaman paste was medium spicy (though you can reduce it a bit by putting a little less paste in the curry). I have the full range of these Thai Curry pastes, and they are all great. This one is my favourite.

Q: Can you make laksa from this paste? Thanks

Doubt it. Laksa has its own unique flavours which won’t be found in this paste. Best to use a Malaysian paste instead.

Q: What is use by date after opened

Having lived and cooked in Thailand, and finding these pastes very authentic, and I have kept them in my fridge, opened, for up to a year! This is because they sell this paste in the markets over there, in the heat and not refrigerated - so I made an educated decision. This is my personal choice, I would not want to tell anyone what to do - as I would not want that responsibility, but I do think that the 'once opened, use within 2 weeks' recommendation on some of the the tubs must be a disclaimer. Use your judgement!
