Or phrased another way, it uses inverter/batteries until the voltage drops to voltages that you set and then it switches to grid power to save your batteries. This answer is for the TS4500PLUS model. **Q: the Battery Plug is it a special one ? it looks like in the pictures** A: No, not special. It only has to house small cable (10 AWG for example) as it is only used to read battery voltage.
