I was recently allocated a work laptop without a microphone. This microphone has been the solution and works brilliantly with no need for any other adaptations and a relative low cost

Great out the box

It's small and compact, but increases volume on Teams calls, and makes Google Meet calls possible, as previously they were not recognising the built in microphone

For such a cheap device, I found it worked well for my purpose. I build robots and needed a reliable, small mic to replace the high quality one used during development. My essential requirement was clear speech so it could be processed by ai. By careful adjustment of the mic sensitivity, the robot can interpret speech to text reliably from as far away as the adjacent room. Embarrassing!

I was expecting this to be another piece of useless Chinese junk. But it works perfectly. The built in microphone on my laptop decided to stop working and my local repair shop wanted crazy money to fix it. So i had a look for a better option and found this. I plugged it in to a USB port and it worked immediately without me having to do anything. Very happy with it.

It's okay, I got some feedback when using it, and sounded kind of weird. But it's functional, and in a pinch, it's pretty good having it in your drawer. Compact and looks nice. Pretty well put together and the price is alright.
