For charging and data transfer only
I bought these because my new iPad uses a usb-c cord. I have several really good lightening cords which fit my old iPad. These adapters allow me to use my old six and ten foot lightening cords with my new iPad. Works perfectly and much cheaper than buying new cords Be aware these are basically for charging. Read the description carefully. I see no difference in charging time or connection quality. There is a little silicone band, one end slips over the adapter and the other end over your cord. You always have either choice readily available. This is so convenient for me as my iPhone still uses the lightening cord. Love this little silicone band.

Second time ordering these so I can have chargers in more locations around the house. This is a super affordable way to get more life out of your old lightening cords since new iphones take the C adapter. And the little rubber collar allows you to easily have access to the lightening plug for guests.

Actually garbage
This thing is actually useless. I bought it to connect my old apple pencil to my new iPad. Nothing. Not a damn thing. Don't waste your money, I am livid.

Charge
These are for charging only... I guess? I have a wireless microphone and a square terminal that I needed to use with my new iPhone 16, and they didn't work.

USEFUL purchase
My all in one charging station for my phone, watch, and airpods had the “old” style usb charger. I switched to air pods pro and wasn’t able to charge them on it. Bought these guys and they work like a CHARM!! Good price, easy to use, and good quality!

Well made, works well
They work well. I like the rubber connector so I can keep it attached to the data cable. I wish they worked with headphones too, but as mentioned on their page, they do not.

Perfect remedy for me and my wife. My wife has a newer phone and I have an older phone but we can now use the same charger without having to swap. Happy wife, happy life!
