Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials

Love this eye base essentials. I have very oily eyes, and this really helps keep my waterproof mascara from making me look like a raccoon half way through the day. This does dry quickly so you need to apply and spread rapidly.

This eye base does a great job of keeping eyeshadowin place all day without creasing. The only thing to keep in mind is that it sets pretty quickly so you need to blend it out on your eyelid right away. Once applied it creates a smooth long lasting base.

One of the best products made. Never creases or flakes. Just gives you a smooth, neutral lid.

This is tricky to use. If you don’t blend it immediately it crumbles up and gets crusty. Also, use lotion or toner before applying. It dries your skin. All in all, you if you apply it just right it works and has great coverage but it can go south too! Not easy to use.

This is the best eye base on the market. I've been wearing this for 20 years. It looks beautiful on the lid. Stays on all day. Great base for eye shadow.

Love the color being neutral nude, great to cover up unevenness on kids, I did not give higher rating as it is a bit dry going on, creates a drag on application, otherwise like it

I love all McAvoy products and this is no exception. Only problem is that the colour is much lighter than it appears when choosing. The problem of buying online I guess

I have used this before and found it to be very effective as a replacement for the discontinued "Stay don't Stray" from Benefit which I had been using for years.However, the current Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials which I am using seems very dry. I had to check to see if I had perhaps had it for a long time but It was only last month I bought it. Hoping this was just a one off I ordered a new one the other day. It arrived today and unfortunately that too seems dry. Perhaps they have changed the way they make it? It's a shame because it's no easy to find similar products.

Works well

Although the product seems to be of good quality, it needs to be applied very quickly to ensure an even finish. Unfortunately, it makes eyelids very dry. I would not recommend it for those over 40 years old.
