The roof prism design works well, and saves bulk and weightThe optics are OK - in fact, very good for the money - but ultimately you get what you pay for. I have some high-end Nikon 8x30 widefield porroprisms which are much brighter, and better all round; but they are not weather-proof, and therefore often get left at home. Whereas I have no fear of taking the Wetlands out with meThe image has a slight yellow cast, in common with many cheaper binocularsthe nex strap is useless - became unravelled almost immediately.
