I am in my late 50's and normally use a gel-cream for my combination skin. (at a higher price point than this) I was very curious to try this gel even though I have very sensitive skin and have to be careful what I use. I figured, "why not?" It's so inexpensive that I wasn't too worried if I ended up pitching it. I have to say, I was very surprised at how much I liked this. It does have a mild scent so was a bit nervous about that in the beginning. It feels amazing once applied- so cooling and no burning or irritation at all. It left my skin perfectly moisturized with no oily feeling whatsoever. Considering the price and that it's a drugstore brand, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again!

I was using a product from Loreal called "Hydra Genius", and while good, it's been near impossible to find in Canada. Well, so long Loreal.... This is one of the few moisturizers out there that actually absorbs and looks natural. Men, this is the one to get! 🔆 Scent Sensitive friendly. The Prickly Pear scent used is very very subtle and I love it. It will not irritate even the most sensitive folks. As a scent sensitive person myself, I can attest to this! 🔆 Goes hand in hand with other e.l.f products like their Holy Hydration Daily Cleanser. You will find that signature Prickly Pear scent in other e.l.f. products also. 🔆 Affordable. I used to have to spend $50 on a bottle of Face Oasys from H20+ (a high end line) to get a gel moisturizer that would go matte. At less than half the price, this moisturizer from e.l.f. is great value. I keep a spare container on hand, as I've run out thinking I could get one within a day, and it was out of stock online. If you become dependent on this product and use it daily like I do, I suggest keeping a spare unit on the shelf so you have a buffer. 💡Pro Tip💡: To make this stuff last, skip it for nighttime use (it's overkill) and sub in a cheaper bottle of something from one of the mainstream brands like Cetaphil. Perfect for oily acne-prone skin, it hydrates it and isn't greasy, leaves your skin feeling moisturised but not sticky and oily. You get quite a lot for your money, I've used this every morning for 2 months and have only used half, so the size is definitely enough. Doesn't smell like anything.
