I know it’s because of the glass however, it doesn’t make traveling very easy. They are great quality and oven safe. Worth it for a small lunch but not for someone who travels with multiple meals. (You’ll wind up needing a chiropractor exam 😂) ### ⭐⭐⭐ It’s actaully a SPLIT compartment, not one. *by K***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2019* The product description and photos are inaccurate, showing that the containers are just one compartment when in fact each container is split in 2. I did not want it split. The packaging it arrived in even shows that it should be one compartment. There is no indication that I should have thought otherwise. I would like to exchange my product if possible.The thickness of the glass makes it seem durable. We will see how the covers hold up.
