FUJIFILM X100V features a new 23mmF2.0 lens to ensure that every detail from its X-Trans TM CMOS 4 Sensor is resolved beautifully. Enhanced for better resolution, lower distortion, this lens is a Significant step up from the ones used in past X100 Series cameras, but still maintains the same overall size and compatibility with legacy WCL/TCL conversion lens, while retaining its internal 4- Stop ND filter. At the heart of FUJIFILM X100V is the state-of-the-art X-Trans TM CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 combination. The exceptional 26.1MP sensor uses a back-illuminated design to maximize quality and dynamic range, while its unique colour filter array controls moiré and false colour without the need for an optical low pass filter. Such outstanding imaging capability is complemented by the quad-core X-Processor 4. This powerful CPU not only ensures images are quickly and smoothly processed, but thanks to a new algorithm, boosts AF performance at the luminance of -5EV.

Review: Another great iteration of this camera series - I have owned every model of this series from the X100 to this new model, the X 100V. I have loved them as they are easy to use and carry everywhere with you. They encourage you to take photographs. This latest iteration has several notable improvement over the X 100F, the previous version. A much improved lens (which is probably the best reason to upgrade), faster autofocus and a flip out screen which does not increase the camera's bulk. The improvement in the lens is very noticeable as it gets rid of a softness which I always noticed on the older versions. Autofocus is not as good as my Sony A7RIV but is nearly as good as my Nikon Z7. Autofocus can be slow and face detect is a little clunky at times, but with patience it is more than adequate, if not top notch. Criticisms are few but the removal of the 4 way controller and requiring the use of joy stick is not my favorite move. I used the 4 way controller a lot on X 100F. Out of the box jpg picture quality is, as always with Fuji cameras, superb. I rarely need to go to raw and do post processing on Fuji pictures. If you like the X T3/X T4 you will love the out of camera pictures. And those emulation modes for various Fuji film types of old, are very interesting to use. I do not use this camera for videos (I have perfectly good and better alternatives, including an iPhone 11 Pro Max), so I cannot comment on its video performance. Altogether an outstanding camera, for those who want a small camera for street photography and other like subjects. It is not the best choice for sport or landscape photography but for everything else this is perfect.

I have owned every model of this series from the X100 to this new model, the X 100V. I have loved them as they are easy to use and carry everywhere with you. They encourage you to take photographs. This latest iteration has several notable improvement over the X 100F, the previous version. A much improved lens (which is probably the best reason to upgrade), faster autofocus and a flip out screen which does not increase the camera's bulk. The improvement in the lens is very noticeable as it gets rid of a softness which I always noticed on the older versions. Autofocus is not as good as my Sony A7RIV but is nearly as good as my Nikon Z7. Autofocus can be slow and face detect is a little clunky at times, but with patience it is more than adequate, if not top notch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tolle Kamera - für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene

Das Besondere der X100v ist für mich, abgesehen vom edlen Retrolook, das sehr eingängige und intuitive Bedienkonzept: Statt eine Modus-Rads gibt es ein Rad für ISO und Belichtungszeit sowie den Objektivdrehring für die Blende. Alle haben die Möglichkeit A=Automatik einzustellen. So lässt sich schnell die Variable festlegen. Dazu gibt es noch das Rat für die Belichtungseinstellung. Dieses kann, ebenso wie die ISO-EInstellung auf C=Custom gestellt werden und dann über eines der beiden variablen Rädchen vorne oder hinten spontan angepasst werden. Die Q=Quick Taste am rechten Ran ermöglicht Zugriff auf die wichtigsten Einstellungen, schnell und übersichtlich. Der kleine Joystick lässt den Fokus sehr schnell setzen. Und die „Drive“-Taste gibt Zugriff auf Serienbild, Video, HDR, Panorama….. Sucher: Es gibt 3 Einstellungen: optisch, digital und optisch mit Lupe in der Ecke. der Digitale ist ehrlich gesagt nicht dolle, aber um ein realistisches Fotobild zu bekommen nutze ich ihn manchmal. Am besten gefällt mir die Kombi mit der Lupe. Äußerlich ist die X100v top verbreitet und fühlt sich super an, alles ist aus Metall und hochwertig, wird dem Preis gerecht. Die grundsätzliche Bedienung ist zwar sehr einfach, aber es gibt dennoch mannigfaltige Möglichkeiten, die Kamera anzupassen. Das schöne dabei: trotz zahlreiche Tasten und Räder habe ich nicht das Gefühl überfrachtet zu sein! Alles fügt sich gut ein. Die Verbindung zum Smartphone hat beim ersten Anlauf etwas gehakt, aber läuft seit dem problemlos und schnell. Was fehlt: - Es gibt leider keinen optischen Bildstabilisator, das wäre schon schön gewesen - Es gibt keinen vollen Automatik Modus, Weißabgleich zB muss man immer selbst machen - Keine Wechselobjektive aber W/T-Aufsätze. Wer mehr will muss zur X Pro3 greifen. - Ein Ladegerät müßte man extra kaufen, dabei ist nur ein UCB-c Kabel Leider ist der Preis recht hoch und auch das Zubehör kostet nochmal. Adapter und Schutzfilter sind meiner Meinung nach Pflicht! Ebenso wie die eine Displayfolie. Das könnte echt dabei sein. Ladegerät extra finde ich okay, das braucht nicht jeder. Insgesamt aber eine richtig tolle Kamera! Sowohl für Anfänger als auch alte Hasen! Die einfachen und schnellen Einstellmöglichkeiten verleiten geradezu dazu etwas rumzuspielen und auszuprobieren. Warum ich die Kamera zusätzlich zu meinem iPhone nutze? der größere Sensor und die Einstellmöglichkeiten, der Sucher und die Haptik beim Halten sind die Gründe für mich!
