Carries the weight and performs well. Shot three hours today of pan and locked and no problems. Purchased the 3 because of the 3500 gram capacity, didn't realize how much I would like the camera controls on the gimbal - very nice.And, while the gimbal can carry the weight, some lenses are too long. My Sigma Art 14mm on my Sony A7iii only balances when the camera body is all the way back at the stops. It will move in pan mode, but can't move in full 360. Not a big issue as I shoot video in 28mm 2.0, but keep in mind if you are planning on using heavy long lenses. ### ⭐ Be careful *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2019* During operation, the gimbal consistently resets it's position (ruining the shot).
