Goodman and Gilman's The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics, 13th Edition

The book is my constant companion and reference text to date. I already got the 14th edition as well. Highly recommended.

This has been the top reference text in the field of pharmacology and toxicology for a long time now, and this latest edition is still an outstanding and comprehensive text in these field of study. It always contains excellent artwork to support the written text.

The typesetting and binding are very beautiful. But it is just a textbook, unable to keep up with the ever-changing information.

Great book. Lot bigger than what I expected but I needed it for school

I love this textbook. Interestingly it took over a week to arrive and was very well wrapped & packaged. It came from India & had a $15.00 value on the label.

This classic textbook is thorough and covers all the topics well. It is still one of the bibles of medicine and very useful to all health professionals for that matter.

I'm a physician and author. This is a definitive text and where I go when I need quick and authoritative answers. Easy to use, thorough, and readable. You can't ask for better.

This book was shipped in perfect condition and is bound very well. I was very disappointed that they decided to go with the smaller font throughout. Previous editions had larger text with some smaller text inserted. The first thing I had to do was to go out and buy a nice magnifying glass. I know that they want to cram as munch info into the book as possible but It shouldn't be a strain on the eyes. Just wanted to let you know if you are considering buying this edition in print. I had been waiting for this latest edition for 3 years and decided I wanted to keep it.

Goldstandard der Pharmakologie. Nicht mehr - aber auch nicht weniger. Natürlich finden sich auch dort kleine Fehler (z.B. Triptane als 5-HT 1b/d Antagonisten statt Agonisten) aber ich kenne kein Lehrbuch, das wirklich frei davon wäre. Wer in der Pharmakologie auf aktuellem Stand der Wissenschaft sein will, der kommt an der neuen 13. Auflage nicht vorbei.
