Without getting into $60+ bits these are the sharpest and best lasting bits I've had. Great for everyday use and works very well on metal.

Best drill bit set ever! Love this style pilot point. There is one manufacturer making this pilot point in cobalt. If you do a lot of metal drilling, the cobalt version might be worth a try. Other than that, these are fantastic and a bargain in this set.

Great set of bits, I like the quick connection. Drilled over 50-60 1/4” holes into 1/8” and 1/4” steel before the tip was dulled. Used generous amount of cutting oil, that seems to extent the life. Would buy these again. Getting the bits out of the can be a little tricky as they are firmly fitted.

Good but not great. Starts cutting well then pulls on harder steel tube. Starter spur only on sizes above 1/4'.

Nice and sharp. I will only be using these for wood.

Outstanding quality. An unusually wide range of bit sizes with no irritating gaps in the sizes. Sturdy case. Easy to extract the drill bits. A very reasonable price for a set of such high quality. Very pleased with this purchase.

I got sick & tired of my previous drill bit set. While they were much cheaper to buy, looked great and there was a fabulous range of drill bits, they did not work. I would be endlessly pushing on the drill for extended periods without much success. I purchased these drill bits after considerable review of what was available and have been very pleasantly surprised how easy they are to use. No more frustration and heavy pressure on the drill for long periods trying to drill a hole. The DeWalt drill bits that I have used so far just cut through metal like butter - such a pleasure to work with and worth the money. Fingers crossed they will last a long time for me.

I concur with many of the other reviews that these are perhaps the best drill bits for metal. They have succeeded where others have failed abysmally. Recommended!
